Cygnett MagMount Plus Magnetic Dash and Window Mount

What a waste of money. The adhesive was useless. As soon as I attached my phone the mount fell off. Would have to use superglue to attach it now and despite assurance would not mount to car vent at all. And yes, I did clean the area first so it was free of dust and oil!

does not hold phone shop said I could not return even though it is not fit for purpose.

Avoid - the magnet isn't overly strong, and the adhesive will fail if you park your car in the sun for more than 20-30mins. Also, the fact that it's made from a heavier alloy means that there is more weight to help rip itself from the dash. Useless.

Purchased it due to the compact nature of it but it’s awful. The claws are weak so you have to push it right into your air vent and ended up breaking the vent. The magnet also isn’t strong enough to hold up your phone, meaning your phone droops down and needs to sit on the dashboard anyway. Save yourself the trouble and by a windscreen mounted one.

Does the job perfectly. Phone does not move and mount is unobtrusive.

Followed instructions. Used 1.8mm phone case and thinner. Hold wasn’t strong. Ended up using no case at all and just the metal plate directly to the mounting magnet and it still wasn’t holding the phone

I like this - pretty good for it's price. The mount itself has not fallen off despite my car being exposed to extremely warm temperatures, so that's a win for me. I don't have a magsafe case and have popped the magnet inside my thin phone case, so it's not quite as stable as I'd like (mainly problematic when I drive over potholes). I'd recommend if you have limited mounting space.

Not great at all. Mine actuall came apart and I do not recommend it.

Mount sticks well, and the magnet holds decently even though i have a large phone and case

I bought one last year after humming and harring whether I really needed one in the car or not. Totally turns out I did. Was in a car accident this year, and needless to say she's still stuck on. Perfect. Also bought a new car recently and thought I wouldn't worry about getting one for that car, lol, lasted about two days and had to go to the shops and get one. Again, it's perfect, can locate it where ever suits you in the car. I picked these ones over the ones that go into the vents as I didn't want to restrict the flow having the phone right there. 👌🏼

I’m very happy with it. It sticks well on the dash where ever you decide. A magnet is provided if your mobile isn’t magnetic, so I put that magnet in the phone cover and it stick strongly, doesn’t or move once I put mobile on the mount. I liked it so much I got another one for my husband car.

Very bad and fell off the first watch. The magnet is weak. Waste of money

Glue not strong enough to hold I phone 12 Max. Design is good otherwise so will try better tape but otherwise will be sent back.

Magnet mount not strong enough for S22 Ultra. Mount can fall off Dash in high temp even without phone attached.

Great hold, small enough to fit on front dash. Has been really effective

Such a shame as the magnet works perfectly, however the adhesive to stick to the dash or windscreen is simply not up to standard to carry the weight of the phone. Thankfully the customer service in store was great and there were no issues in getting a refund.

Product not good for iPhone 13 Pro Max, phone is too heavy for the magnet it keeps falling. Maybe a good product for a smaller phone

Comes with a bunch of magnets for all your devices which is really handy for people who share the car and have work and personal phones.

Packaging was a little confusing. I thought I was buying a vent mounted holder, but was dash mounted. So no comment on the product. JBHIFI have excellent return policy so I took it back for full credit.

I have very few options on my dash for a flat area that is not textured vinyl or any sort of surface making it difficult for the double-sided tape to stick to. I did not want the vent type, so this one was the best option having a small contact area requirement. Magnet is very strong and the pivot is rigid, and my phone has not fallen off or tilted/slumped down, has stayed exactly where i want it to, and the mount has stayed firm on my dash. Very happy with this purchase.

Small and strong. Holds my iPhone 11 pro max no problems

This mount is actually good. A lot of mounts don't hold up any device in rough terrain and large devices. However, this magnet is strong enough that it holds everything. The Mount sticks to most surfaces, except leather. Has not budged in the Aussie heat at all.

Slim and better than the cradle holders, super easy to attach my phone with the magnet which sits inside my phone case with my credit cards. Easy to tilt the angle. I have thought often since buying it how much of a good purchase it is.
