Simply add 5.9 g (approximately 11/2 teaspoons) of Metamucil to 250 mL of liquid. Stir briskly and drink promptly. Drink plenty of water.

Psyllium husk powder 3.4 g per 5.9g dose.

Keep out of reach of children. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or oesophagus and may cause choking. Bulk fibre may affect how well other medicines work. If you are taking a prescription medicine by mouth, take this product at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after the prescribed medicine to minimise any effect on drug absorption. As your body adjusts to increased fibre intake, you may experience changes in bowel habit or minor bloating. Sure the product may work for many, yet the container does

Sure the product may work for many, yet the container does not have a real ingredient list. Where does that leave people with allergies? The website does not even have an accurate ingredient list. It's near impossible to find. What additives are they hiding? Our family has allergies and purchased this product yet now we can't take it and will look for pure psyllium instead. Our container just lists the active ingredient which is psyllium, yet that does not naturally taste like orange. What a waste of money, just because a company can't be clear, not even on the website where info is meant to be available.

Metamucil orange smooth is great and works well

Metamucil orange smooth is great and works well. I've had my gallbladder removed and has tummy upsets all the time. Metamucil has helped to become regular without constipation or diarrhoea anymore. I would recommend this to anyone who has had gallbladder surgery.
