Healthy. I tried to enjoy for known health benefits, but too strong fishy taste & bones deterred experience

Hmmm? Not sure about this one - althogh possibly because i just couldn’t get my head around eating mackerel

Nothing fishy going on here. This fish taste great I was scared it would be an overpowering taste .... It was clean tasting and very nice it had a few mackerel slices in it which I halfed rubbed the bone spines out easily covered with thin slices of lemon and lightly baked before shredding it and adding to quasedillas it was delicious and tasted much fresher and cleaner then I was expecting! I would buy this again ! Was not scary tinned fish ! Fear of inferior quality alleviated !

Great to have in the pantry! If you like mackerel and can tolerate it tinned, this could be great addition into a fast dinner for you. I find the can very convenient and easy to have on hand in an emergency. I wish there was a spring water option as I’m trying to reduce the amount of oil I consume.

Tinned fish. it’s tinned fish. Not the most premium product but a good staple for the pantry when you’re craving something like this on toast. texture was ok, quite oily (but you’ve got to expect that from an oily fish packed in oil). Not Australian - packed in Thailand from multiple origins. But there’s only 1 or 2 brands of tinned fish (including snack fish) that are Australian products.

Hubby enjoyed them. I’m. It a fan of mackerel but hubby liked them!

Not everyone's taste. Not something I would eat weekly. But I would keep a tin in the cupboard for rainy days.

Handy pantry staple. These are very handy to keep in the pantry as backup to your fresh food supplies, so you never have to worry about running out of groceries and having to run to the shops when you are too busy or too lazy! You can make many tasty dishes from this product, it is very versatile with endless uses, probably even more so than tuna, but just not as good in sandwiches. Lots of options but I love it best with chilli, garlic, lime and tomato - you can have it with rice, pasta/noodles, bread/toast, or salad!

Not a fish lover. I am not a fish lover but other members of the family quite enjoyed it on toast.

Not my thing. I ended up giving these to my dogs - they liked them. The smell was very fishy when I opened the tin. I don't mind sardines & tuna but these smelled way too strong for me.
