De'Longhi EC885M Dedica Arte Manual Pump Coffee Machine

For this machine for my work van/weekend camper. Machine is maxed at 1300 watts unlike others that go beyond their stated stats. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Makes a lovely espresso and the micro foam it makes is as good as any. As read from another review, it’s all about technique. It’s has some serious guts for a lower priced machine and makes as good a coffee as my home machine does. A good heating block and quick (15 seconds or less). Wait time for the steamer is negligible. Will make multiple coffees with ease. for any camper people out there, my system is a 120ah lithium ion battery with a 2000 watt inverter. This comes safely under the recommended wattage so you don’t have to worry about tripping the safety. Best machine for this purpose in the market by far and I did my research. All in all, I’m super impressed and really goes beyond my expectations. One more thing for coffee enthusiasts, because it’s Italian made, it comes with the E.S.E holder, so you can put the paper pods in if you’re in a rush. Not many people know it has this extra usage but it does.

Having owned a range of top end manual machines over the years I’m really enjoying the simplicity of my Dedica. Once you nail your ideal grind it pulls the perfect shot.

Makes excellent coffee and takes up less room than our old machine.

We bought it to replace the previous one that has stopped working. Hopefully we can get it fixed so we have two. We bought the original one because my wife's father has one and we think it's good.

I love this coffee machine! It is my second one and had no hesitation in buying the same model again. My last one lasted for years. This machine is very neat on my kitchen bench taking up a very little space. Perfect coffee every time.

I bought this for my caravan because I love my coffee and have the DeLonghi fully automatic at home. It took me a little while to get used to, but now I feel I am making the perfect coffee with a lovely cream on top. I previously used a pod machine in the caravan, but this is much better.

I bought my machine about 1 month ago. It is taking some time to be able to comfortably but the espresso handle on. At first I had to switch it off so I didn't accidentally hit any buttons, then hug it tightly to be able to get it on. Now I'm able to get it on ok, still a bit tricky getting it off. Apart from that, I'm quite happy with it.

This will be my third of these very practical machines, one each in Shenzhen and Doha and now back home in Australia. They have a low footprint but make a great coffee. A little patience was required with the latest. Fresh out of the box it has been a real wrestle to attach and remove the head... and only after a couple of weeks of use has it started to move more freely.

We bought this machine about 2 weeks again and it makes a delicious cuppa. We are no barista’s so pretty happy with the result

I like the machine overall, but cannot get a good milk foam with the steamer. Coffee is fine but milk does not get hot enough within 60 seconds.

I love it! It's my first coffee machine and so far it's giving me a good barista-like coffee every morning

Incredible. I was looking into buying a Sm3g brand but did some research and found that this coffee machine does all that plus more! Couldn't recommend a better coffee machine for an at home easy go to.

YUCK! Returning this today. It comes with 2 kinds of pod handle and pod pieces. The ones without the rubber dont insert properly so you need to use the ones with a rubber ring. It makes the coffee taste awful & I dont know if its toxic? The handle for the coffee pod has a plastic base that might also contribute to the bad taste. Doesnt come with a milk frother jug so you need to have one of those.

this machine is useless for frothing milk, i regret buying it, the espresso is on point but useless when you cannot froth milk.. i can froth milk and after searching the internet on tips for this machine it still has zero froth - i’m furious actually as i don’t have money to throw away, there goes $200 down the gurgler.!

Have owned several coffee machine over the years. So far, this little beauty beats them all hands down. Even the ones costing more than twice to three times as much. See how long he lasts.....

It is easy to make a cup of coffee, tasting nice and elegant. Besides, the price is reasonable.

I bought this product 12 months ago. The metal coffee basket could not be be filled with the recommented portion of coffee as it would then not lock into the machine. the basket for a double shot did not allow the water to flow through from day one.disappointing purchase

Amazing value, excellent little machine, makes beautiful coffee and the wand works perfectly. The Dedica Arte also looks great. For the size and prize you couldn't do better.

I have this machine purchased from De Longhi,a pleasure to use with the result being a great coffee ,espresso or flat white ,you wouldn't buy a better machine for that money.

I give the DeLonghi Dedica Arte 4 out of 5 stars. I've been using it for about two months now and overall I’m really happy with it. The price was very reasonable and I love that it's slim as it doesn’t take up much space on my kitchen counter. It consistently makes great coffee and has become an enjoyable part of my morning routine. I’m usually the only coffee drinker in the house so it’s quick and convenient for single use. That said, making multiple cups when guests are over does take a while but I think that’s pretty typical for espresso machines in this price range. The only downside was that I had to replace my first unit within three weeks due to a power issue. From what I found online this seems to be a somewhat common problem. However, my replacement has been working perfectly so far. I previously used a DeLonghi Nespresso machine for nearly 10 years with no issues so I decided to stick with the brand. This time I wanted more flexibility with coffee types and the Dedica Arte has definitely delivered on that.

I bought my first espresso machine a month ago and have been making delicious drinks everyday since! The wand can be finicky, but the machine has given me no problems and I haven’t had to descale after nearly day use for over a month.

Absolutely love this machine. Best way to start the day. Combined with a delongi digital grinder. Makes my mornings a breeze and saves me a bundle on take away coffee.
