De'Longhi EC9555.M La Specialista Opera Manual Espresso Machine (Black)

Very disappointed with the machine, drip tray too small had to empty and clean after every use, to many adjustments to try and get a good coffee and milk steamer was useless, would not recommend machine to anyone.

We purchased this just under a month ago and love it! It’s so quick! Especially with steaming the milk. Looking forward to using the cold brew setting in summer. Will always stick with De’Longhi for my coffee machines. Quick, efficient and make the perfect cup of coffee ☕️

bought it to after having to replace my previous machine(not a Delonghi), the La Specialista Opera had everything i wanted and it makes a really nice cup of coffee with ease, very satisfied with this machine and would happily recomend it

Very disappointing experience with my DeLonghi La Specialista Maestro. I purchased this as a premium espresso machine, expecting strong reliability and support. Unfortunately, the machine has had repeated issues since purchase. It previously had to be sent to a DeLonghi recommended service centre, where it was held for close to four weeks. It later developed further faults and was sent to another DeLonghi recommended service centre on 28 April. Multiple parts have since been replaced, including the safety valve, solenoid valve and expansion chamber, but the general alarm fault still could not be resolved. DeLonghi’s own technical team was also involved, but the issue remained unresolved. DeLonghi offered 40% off another machine. I did not consider this fair, as it still required me to pay most of the cost of replacing a premium machine that has had repeated faults and could not be repaired through their recommended service network. After I pushed back, DeLonghi declined to provide a replacement, refurbished replacement, or meaningful refund/credit. They instead offered to cover the service cost and order yet another part to attempt another repair. After being without the machine since 28 April, and after several parts have already been replaced without fixing the issue, I found this response very poor. For a premium machine, I expected better reliability and much better customer support. Based on my experience, I would not recommend DeLonghi coffee machines, particularly if you expect reliable customer support when something goes wrong.

I previously had the delonghi la specialista prestiggio and I absolutely loved it. I had it for 4 years and then decided to get another one. I went with the Opera and you can tell its the better version of the 2. The milk frother is fantastic the milk comes out soft and silky. I barely had to make any changes when I first set it up. Also I love how the "ok" button is the power button. This is the perfect machine without breaking the bank in my opinion.

Bought this last month quite happy works well for the cost only complaint is it does not like the idea of frothing a larger jug of milk to supply 2cups of flat white coffee

We bought this a month ago to replace our 11 year old Delonghi Eletta. Despite Melbourne having the best coffee, it still doesn't compare to the lattes we can make on our La Specialista Opera. Now, we refuse to drink coffee anywhere else except for what we make at home on our La Specialista Opera. It's compact, easy to use, and looks great on our kitchen bench. I even installed new LEDs above it to show it off.

I’ve had it about a month and it is certainly an improvement on my previous one. It is taking me quite a while to get to understand all the settings as it makes a huge difference as to what milk you use and what beans you use. They result can be absolutely excellent or not really drinkable but that is no fault of the machine. It is a very attractive machine. The water tank is very big which means you don’t have to fill it up as often and you can actually see into it by looking over the top and filling up to the maximum mark.

With coffee like this at home we don't go to cafes any more!

I bought the Opera as it has the tamper feature and PID temperature control. Very happy with this machine, it makes great coffee and has good grind control

The coffee it makes is not as good as the previous model I had (not as strong), it takes longer to make and if I make the coffee grind finer (to make it stronger), the coffee is cold by the time it finishes.

Great machine! Makes barista quality coffee and cold brew. You can automatically adjust the dosage and tamp the coffee with the inbuilt handle for totally mess-free operation. Highly recommended

This was given to us for our 60th wedding anniversary by our our beautiful children and their family and as we all like our coffees it is getting plenty of use.

Loving our coffee from this machine at work. Easy to use but we still have control over the milk side of our coffee which we like.

It was a tough one when deciding in the store between this machine or the Breville, but what sold me was the functions it has to support beginner coffee makers. The assisted dosage and tampering are so handy! The machine itself is quiet when functioning and is very aesthetic to the eye, which is a bonus. Definitely recommend this one to people getting their first coffee machine and wanting to be their home barista.

Love our La Specialista Opera!!! Its easy to use. love the tamper that comes.with it! steamer wand is also powerful and I like how you can make cold brew coffee with it too!! I was comparing espresso machines and was really happy with my purchase. It looks fancy and me and my husband just can't stop having coffee.. I was able to make latte art with it too

Excellent coffee machine for the price. Consistent tamp and pour for each coffee. Quick heat up time and multiple adjustment options for the individual preferences for the family. Smallest of flaws identified is a small amount of grounds not tamp along the edge but this brushes off easily

Makes the perfect coffee. Bought mine a few months ago and it’s used multiple times a day. Mainly use it for espressos and coffee with frothing of milk. Which is quick and easy.

Have had this machine now for three months and am really impressed with it. I have come across from a pod machine and can't believe how much more fun this machine is and how much better the coffee results are. Initially we avoided the manual machines because we were put off by the mess of tamping and grinding. But having used the La Specialista Opera we are so impressed how mess free the coffee making experience is. The built in grinder with the extra settings and the integrated smart tamping is so easy to use and there is no mess on the kitchen bench after. Additionally, the manual steaming wand is excellent to use and so much better than the "auto" steam wand we had on the pod machine. Also very happy with the controls and general operation of the machine. We only drink milk based coffees, so haven't tried the cold brew options at this time. We also like the black option of this machine, as it is very smart looking in the kitchen and a little nicer than the plain stainless machines. Overall, very happy with this machine. :)

Have had this machine now for 18 months and it's the best machine I've had. Has always done its job extremely well.

We just found great coffee beans but needed to find a great coffee machine to go with it so we found it and we love it so much.

I bought this machine for my Mum and she absolutley loves it. Instead of heading to the corner coffee shop and meeting her friends they now all come to her house!! Le Cafe De Nana
