DERMAVEEN SOOTHING OATMEAL SHAMPOO 1L

I don't notice any improvement in my hair condition after use. Just a regular shampoo in my opinion, nothing special. The benefit is that only a little goes a long way.

I have often struggled with a dry, flaky scalp- especially when washing my thick hair is often only done a few times a week! Also am currently struggling with postpartum dryness & hair breakage/loss. I used these products for a few weeks & very quickly I saw a noticeable difference- my scalp seemed less irritated & the products gave my hair a lovely smooth & manageable feel. I’ve been using this DermaVeen Oatmeal Shampoo in conjunction with the Conditioner as a set for a bit now. The shampoo itself is very light and has the texture and consistency of a face cleanser so feels gentle on the scalp. My scalp is sometimes irritated and gets dandruff but is oily at the same time so using this shampoo was interesting as it did not seem to irritate the scalp which some shampoos do and seemed to keep my dandruff at bay. Though because of how light the formula was, found that I had to do more than one wash each time I shampoo for my hair to feel clean and there wasn’t a lot of suds. Hair did feel fairly hydrated and soft.

I’ve really enjoyed using the DermaVeen Hair + Scalp Soothing Oatmeal Shampoo. My scalp can get quite itchy and sensitive, but this shampoo felt incredibly soothing from the first wash. It cleaned my scalp properly without leaving it feeling dry, tight or irritated afterwards, which is something I struggle to find in scalp focused products. I also have colour treated curly hair and was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t fade my colour or make my hair more frizzy. Instead, my hair felt soft, hydrated and much easier to manage. It’s a really gentle but effective shampoo that I’ll continue using.

I liked the feel of this shampoo and my hair felt really clean but it had no shine. The product claims to retain the hairs natural oils, however, my hair looked dryer after use and felt it too. My hair looked limp after using the shampoo and I had to wash my hair more often. My scalp felt no discernable difference but as my scalp is not bad that didn't make much difference to me. Perhaps someone with an irritated scalp would have better results. The shampoo itself feels silky and smells nice and the bottle is a good size for travelling.

My hair still feels soft and fresh after using it, which is hard to find with scalp shampoos. Definitely worth trying for itchy or dry scalps.

This shampoo was great for dry hair and a sensitive scalp. It left my hair feeling less greasy, less frizzy and my scalp felt hydrated. After a few weeks I noticed a visible difference in dandruff. Would purchase again and use with a colour shampoo (purple for my blonde hair).
