Double Length Paper Towel

I've been using Viva paper towels for a long time. They were a great product. Sadly, some minor changes have been made and the quality of the product has declined as a result. There has been a slight change in the size and shape of the paper towels – they used to be a more of a square shape – I had no idea how useful I found this, until I recently bought a new bulk pack and noticed they were no longer square shaped and more of a rectangular shape. The difference in measurements means the towel is slightly smaller than it used to be – a rather petty form of shrinkflation. I would prefer to pay more for the original quality paper towels. Less paper towel means less area to absorb spills, and I would quite often fold them twice to form a smaller and thicker square that was the perfect size in my hand to sweep away mess on my benchtops – no more! The awkward rectangle is the way of the future! The new size isn't the only issue, the perforations don't seem to be as well defined, so I am struggling to tear off paper towels as easily as before, and quite often, tearing them off in the wrong spot, so I'm now wasting a considerable amount of towels. I'm unsure how anyone could spin this change into some sort of value-add for the customer. The product seemed to be fine for so long, why change it and reduce the quality at the same time? Will this change pay off, or will many more loyal consumers, like me, now search for a new paper towel that hasn't lowered it's standards to what the Viva product has now?

While double length might not be suitable for everyone due to the paper towel holder, I like having them as they do not run out as easily making it more convenient to use a roll in the kitchen

I was neither wowed nor disappointed by this product. The absorbency is fine, it didn’t break apart, it seems nice and thick. I’m not a fan of the double length roll, it takes up too much space in my cupboard

Great product,awesome absorbancy soaks in alot. Keeps strength well even when wet. Absorbs various fluids easily Handy in a double length less refilling unit dispenser. Price is decent value for money. Would recommend and use more Viva products.

Viva Double Length Paper Towel is fantastic. I love the larger roll size and it’s incredible absorbent. Will definitely buy again.

best quality paper towel in my opinion over all the competition, it is more robust and less prone to flaking/ripping when wet. It is extremely durable and a single sheet goes a long way.

Easy to use and clean up mess. Extra long rolls mean it lasts longer and cleans more mess. Absorbent for all the spills my toddler makes.

The quality of the towel was great, its absorption was fantastic and it mopped up spills with ease. I did find the roll a little too large though. I would recommend buying this product if size isn't a problem!
