Warts are a common viral infection affecting the surface layers of the skin. They usually appear as a hard rough textured patch of skin. The incubation period of the virus varies from a week to several months. Warts should be treated as soon as possible as they spread easily and are highly contagious. Warts are spread when the virus contacts damaged skin. Warts can be contracted through contact with contaminated towels, razors, shoes etc. Infection is more likely to occur in warm, moist areas like swimming pools and change rooms. Duofilm is the Solution Convenient Duofilm comes with an integrated brush designed to apply the Duofilm Solution easily and accurately. Easy to use (just 1 application a day) Apply Duofilm once a day, until the wart has completely cleared, and the skins ridge lines have been restored. Painless Softens the skin causing the wart to simply peel off. Treatment Time Usual treatment time is 6 to 12 weeks. STEP 1: Remove any plaster and soak the wart in hot water for 5 minutes and dry thoroughly with own, clean towel. STEP 2: Rub the surface of the wart with a pumice stone, nail file, emery board or coarse washcloth. Take care not to cause bleeding. STEP 3: Apply Duofilm directly to the wart using the supplied brush applicator. Use only enough Duofilm to cover the wart and avoid applying to the healthy surrounding skin. Directions - For external use only. - Use only on common warts. - Do not use on moles, birthmark or unusual skin growths. - Do not treat warts over large areas at one time. - Duofilm may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and other sources of UV light. - Sun exposure should be limited by using a sunscreen and by wearing protective clothing. - Transient stinging or irritation may occur when using Duofilm. If irritation persists, discontinue use. - If you have sensitive skin, test Duofilm before applying it to a large area. - Do not use on infants or very young children unless with medical advise. Do not use; - if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of Duofilm. - on face or anogenital regions - if you are diabetic or have impaired circulation - if the wart or skin surrounding it, is red, irritated, broken or infected. 1.
