Directions Keep to the recommended dose. Shake the bottle gently for 5 seconds before each use. Prime the device the first time it is used or if it has not been used for 7 days or longer. It is important to use the spray regularly. While symptom relief starts quickly, it may take several days to become fully effective. Taking it regularly will help prevent your symptoms returning quickly. Dymista® Allergy is for the treatment of moderate to severe allergic rhinitis (hayfever). Symptoms of hayfever include sneezing, runny, itchy, and/or blocked nose. Dymista Allergy contains 2 active ingredients: azelastine hydrochloride and fluticasone propionate. Azelastine hydrochloride belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. Antihistamines work by preventing the effects of substances such as histamine that the body produces as part of an allergic reaction.
