Dyson AM07 Cool Tower Fan (White/Silver)

I bought it to keep me cool during the night, but it is far too loud, contrary to what I see in the other reviews. Not only that but it has some sort of high frequency sound it emits that strains the ears. It goes up to 10 levels, but the only level that is tolerable for sleep is level 1. Even to just to have it on during the day is unbearable since it's so loud. I personally don't recommend purchasing as the pricing is far too high for the quality of the product. The build quality is also astonishingly cheap, considering it costs hundreds of dollars. If you want to hear how loud it can be, just search up some videos on YouTube and have a listen.

Bought two of them from JB Online in same week but out of the box, neither one worked!!! First one did not oscillate, second one displayed a "F2" error code (motor problem). Immediately sent both back for full refund and cannot recommend the Dyson brand to anyone anymore. A pity since their stick vacuum bought two years ago still works fine, except the battery now only lasts half the time it used to when new (which is to be expected).

Excellent product. However I bought it as an online purchase and the delivery company JBHiFi use is absolutely terrible. They give you a window of delivery from 9-5 and you must be home to sign for it and no one else can sign for it. Worst delivery service I've ever experienced

This model claims to be 40% quieter....than a jet plane maybe. It is quite loud for the price.

Not as powerful as i thought..and it is a bit noisy.

The noise was so low that I could not sleep well with it, and when I put it far away, the wind flow was quite small.

Really happy to join, the Dyson consumer band wagon. It's my first Dyson product and happy with the black friday sale price. Great size tall tower, like it's an older model but I'm happy to purchase it just before summer begins. Really works well, to have it on at the same type as your air conditioner, as it really cools down the room.

I bought this fan 3 weeks ago and it is the best fan I have ever had. It has kept the bedroom cool throughout some very hot nights. It has 10 settings, is quieter than other fans I have owned and does not use much electricity.

To be fair I've never used an air multiplier before So I have no frame of reference. I bought this fan to replace the 40cm pedestal fan I was using because I wanted something powerful and quiet, So I thought this fan would be perfect. The first thing I noticed was that this unit is noisy. Very VERY noisy. Not only is there a lot of fan noise but there's also a high-pitched whine as well so it sounds like a portable hair dryer. It can be heard quite clearly in the next room. The second thing I noticed was that it isn't very powerful. I had to turn it up to setting #5 to get any decent air flow I could feel from 5 feet away. I had to crank it up to the maximum - 10 to get something close to a decent flow and that's when it becomes intolerably loud. Much louder than the aforementioned 40cm pedestal fan. There is no way I could use it in my bedroom as I could never sleep with the noise. The only setting that is quiet is 1. 2 is a little noisy and anything over that it gets increasingly noisier with every higher setting. Overall I am very unsatisfied as this DOES NOT do what it claims to do, so I will be seeking a refund.

I bought this online and picked up from Garden City JB Hi-Fi store two hours later. Great service and wonderful product. Sleek looking and easy to install. Always love fans with a timer !

Bought the fan a few weeks ago, assembly was very simple and the instructions were easy to follow. The fan is very effective and efficient, in need to run it in the second lowest setting for good airflow. Highly recommend this sleek and quiet fan.

This fan has been a lifesaver with the recent heat. I can have it on all night and it is so quiet that it does not interfere with sleep. Love it!!

This fan is brilliant! So quiet! Whether stationary on me or ossilating on others in the room, it performs really well. Am very happy with the product. Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for!
