Elastoplast Hi-Stretch Compression Bandage is a non-adhesive, washable and reusable compression bandage that gives you quality protection. The Elastoplast Hi-Stretch Support and Compression Bandage is a highly elastic compression bandage, which offers compression for soft tissue injury treatment. It can be used when experiencing injuries such as bruising, corked thighs or sprained ankles. The Hi-Stretch bandage is particularly useful in conjunction with the RICER technique. REST – Avoid as much movement as possible and do not put weight on the injury. ICE – Apply a cold pack to the injury for 20 minutes every 2 hours to reduce pain and swelling. COMPRESSION – Apply the Elastoplast Hi-Stretch Compression Bandage. ELEVATION – Elevate the injured area to assist in circulation away from the injury. REFERRAL – Refer the injured person to a qualified professional. To use, ensure the skin is clean and dry whilst supporting the injured area in position to be bandaged. Wrap the bandage around the injured area, overlapping each layer 1/2 to 2/3, however do not apply stretch or pressure to the last 10cm of fabric.
