It’s Ok, but not without issues!

PSA: I would like to share a very good solution if you find yourself having audio stuttering issues. BUY A USB-C PCIe 20gbps CARD & use it SOLELY for the 4K X capture card! You can pick them up cheap! Thank you Google & Reddit! If you have a problem with 4K Capture Utility not recording, it’s recommended to install Elgato Studio instead. REVIEW: My hubby got me this as a Christmas present to upgrade my old HD60 S+. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! The audio stuttering was horrible. I ended up reaching out to Elgato technical support as there wasn’t much in the way of solutions online. Straight away support got started the RMA process. They sent me out a replacement, when I tested it… BAM! Exact same issue. I spent more time going back & forth with Elgato & searching on Google. Turns out it’s a bandwidth problem on the motherboard & the solution is purchasing a USB-C PCIe 20gbps card to install into your PC (if it’s a desktop ofc) to use solely for the capture card. Elgato were completely stumped until I told them that. Anyway, it works now & I just recorded my first 4K video from my Xbox! I recommend this capture card, but beware of the issues I’ve faced with it & the solution I found online!
