awful scented new formula

I was happily using the elvive (with red peony for many many years). Then I was sent this bottle with my shopping: it’s so strongly scented.. it’s awful! Will be looking for a new shampoo now as I can’t use this. Smells like cheap shower gel

The Elvive Shampoo and Conditioner

The Elvive range has recently changed and it's awful. I have been using this range for many many many years. When recently restocked and used I could not understand why the smell had changed and then myhair after a wash and conditioner is left greasy and flat. It's like I have rubbed oil on the top of my head of hair. I would really like a refund as have a few bottles . Will stop using. Whoever made this decision to change something so good clearly needs to review why

Bring back the original formula

New fragrance is overpowering and new formulation leave scalp itchy and hair dry and crunchy. (Worst thing is there was no warning to the consumer the formula had changed so not only wasted money but puts peoples at risk of allergic reactions) The old formula was perfect for my hair smelt amazing and left is silky but not greasy. Bring back the original

New formulation?

The Elvive range has recently changed it's packaging. Unfortunately it seems the formulation may have changed as well. I have boughts bottle after bottle of the old forumlation and it was my favourite shampoo and conditioner that worked so well for my fine blonde tinted hair, and smelt amazing too. I bought the new packaged range and am SO disappointed. The frangrance is way too strong and cheap and it now leaves my hair feeling dried out "crunchy", not soft and lovely like the old formulation. I then tried the coconut oil range but it left my hair the same. I threw out all my new bottles and am now searching for a new brand. Very disappointing.

So disappointed with changed formula

After using this for over 10yrs I’m so disappointed with the change in formula. The smell is absolutely awful and it feels greasy. Unfortunately now feels like a cheap supermarket shampoo when it used to be so impressive both in feel and results. Will be scouting all the stores to find some old formula bottles to last until I have to find a new product.

Terrible! Greasy & tacky!

New formula is absolutely terrible! My hair feels greasy and tacky after being washed. It almost feels like the product will not wash out of my hair. Leaving it greasier than it was before washing. There was no need to change the formula from the previous product. I have used the original colour protect for a few years which was great. No issues at all,however I’ve given this new formula a go for a couple of months now and could not recommend. I will need to find something else on the market

Totally different to what it used to be.

I always loved these shampoos and conditioners but noticed the packaging had changed recently. It was made in France and now made in India! It smells weird now and my hair feels crap after using it. Completely changed for the worse! Won't ever buy again.
