Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Talking Engines - Assorted*

My 3 year old son adores trains. He is very fond of this particular train as it is motorized and makes sounds/talks. He loves making mommy build a "track" out of different things for his train to use. It does go well on different types of flooring (hardwood, carpets, tile). The engine is is strong and goes at a good speed. We have had 2 problems with it though. I have long hair and my son put it by my hair when it was on and it got really twisted up in my hair vety quickly and was hard to remove. The train has 3 pieces that connects (engine and 2 cars). The piece to connect the engine and cars are plastic and still pretty hard for a newly 3 year old to do alone. Even if I put it together and hand it back to him it disconnects by the time that he puts it down. The plastic pieces have warped or stretched so much from him regularly playing with it. My son is a wild child though, so an older or calm 3 year old may not be as hard on the train as my son. Overall he does love the train and wants more so that they can talk to each other. We will be getting more for his collection.

This train is fun! We love that it talks to other trains in our set. The battery lasts quite a long time and thankfully shuts off on its own after a bit of time. The colors are vibrant and eye catching.

Thomas and friend train is a fantastic toy. With show like characteristics, it brings world of Thomas to life in realistic way. While the pre recorded phrases on the push of a button might feel limited and repetitive, it doesn't stop my oldest to stop enjoying it and constantly keeps playing with it. Train's design is robust and very sturdy and she has already dropped it few times and it's still going strong. Highly recommend it.

This train is so cute to play with. It talks as they go on an icy adventure. The train rolls and when you push the button on top it talks. If you have tracks to add it too it will roll around. The colors are bright and looks just like Nia off Thomas and friends

This is a fun little three piece train set. My son has enjoyed adding this to his train collection! It fits on his Thomas train tracks. The talking train was entertaining and makes train sounds just like a real train. It turns on with a push of button!

This is the cutest train that is a perfect size for my 6 year old. It has a couple phrases and also makes train noises when stopping and going. It’s a pretty quick moving train and moves quite well on our living room rug without any struggle. I noticed that it can also communicate with other trains that have a sensor which is pretty cool. If you have a busy little one that’s on the go or likes chasing after toys I definitely recommend this train!

My four year old grandson was SO excited to get this new train Talking Nia with two cargo cars. He has many, many Thomas & Friends engines. I haven’t been shopping for them in awhile so was not aware of this new line of trains. This particular engine is a little larger than some of his older Thomas engines. It is very solid and well made. It has a very cute face on the front. Nia says many cute phrases. “Let’s rock and roll” “Choo Choo Chooby Doo” “Click Clack, Clickety Clack”. She also makes chugging noise when she starts up and brake-like noises when she stops. She is also supposed to recognize other trains in this Talking series. We don’t have any, yet, so I can’t comment on that. There are two “cargo” cars attached to Nia. One holds objects and the other had like a blue crystal, which my grandson loved taking off and putting in the empty car. He loved that Nia talks. He looked at all of his other engines to see if they talked. Looks like we are going to have to buy other talking trains as the engines recognize each other. Prior to receiving this train, we had put the train table tracks away as he had seemed to lose interest. With this new train, he started bringing in some other pieces from his Advent calendar (gingerbread man, reindeer) and played for over an hour. It was so fun to watch. There wasn’t anything that we did not like about this train set.

My son loves this talking Thomas the train. He loves the light and talking of the train. He especially loved the "Choo choo" sound and the clickety clack. He was able to take the train cars apart and put them back together easily and many times. Highly recommend

My kids love everything Thomas so these new talking trains are no exception. These trains are well made and sturdy so can withstand a lot of play time. The best part is the trains “talking” to each other. Great addition to our growing collection of Thomas trains.

Instantly my child wanted to open this train toy ! He couldn’t wait to turn it on to get the train moving. A little frustrated with connecting the pieces at first but then he got the hang of it and couldn’t stop letting it roll on the floor
