Faulty

Not good, returned my first purchase when the battery stopped charging. Jb kindly gave me a replacement, however it also stopped working after about 10 coffees. Issue appears to be related to battery. Lucky to get 2 coffees on a fully charged battery if you’re lucky. I’ll be returning mine for a refund

Solid Build, Disappointing Performance

Beautifully made unit and I had high expectations, but unfortunately it just doesn’t deliver. The coffee comes out lukewarm, and the battery only gets you about two cups per charge. You also need to be very careful when assembling it, as the pop spike can damage the rubber seal. The extraction is weak, so it doesn’t really bring out the flavour of the coffee—and you’ll get zero crema. Overall, a major disappointment. I’ve returned mine for a refund as it’s not fit for purpose, and spare parts like seals and batteries aren’t available. Honestly, you’re better off getting an Aeropress or Nanopresso—you’ll have far more control and get much better coffee.

Germania coffee maker

Easy to use when I finally figured it out. Provides a shot for your coffee. I use pods. Best with hot water. Instructions not clear, but all good when figured out.

Not worth it

The Coffee machine looks great but it dosn't make a lot i coudn't even get 2 cups out of a charge .When i first bought it it was getting to 90 degrees now it gets to 75 degrees and i have only made 5 coffees in a week. charging it multiple times no good for when your on the road like me .

Not worth it

Small capacity, messy, long wait time and time to clean is just not worth the effort nor the price. IF not a Gift it would be sitting in my Recycle Bin.

Well made unit, disappointing coffee.

Bought this on a half priced special based on the only available review that gave it 5 stars. Regretting the purchase. Tested the machine with pods and with ground coffee. What comes out is not hot enough for my tastes and the resulting brew, to put it diplomatically, is what in Italy they call Cafe Americano, so way weaker than my favoured espresso. That may be some people's cup of tea (ha!) but it's not mine. It can only deal with 80 ml of water, and my preferred cuppa is a greek style 140ml espresso/short black. I tried both the cold water heat-up extract and the hot water extract and both were disappointingly lukewarm. If you need caffeine in a remote place and can stand filter coffee this is an option. If you want Nespresso level flavour this is not the choice to make.

Great gadget for making good coffee on the run

Great little gadget to take on the road and makes a decent coffee too. So far I haven’t gotten adventurous enough to try the ground coffee as I’m not keen on the mess when pods make it so convenient. That said I’ve only used Nespresso pods so far and can’t really tell any difference between the ones I make at home in my delonghi and the coffee that comes out of this.
