Glam By Manicare Glam Ready Pre-Glued Lizzie Cluster Lashes Luxer

Glam by Manicare Glam Ready Pre-Glued Cluster Lashes Luxe – Lizzie come in a box containing three sets. It says each cluster comprises 48 multi-length lashes with tapered tips and that they are lightweight to wear. No glue is required. The instructions state to place them under your lashes and press. Having never used false eyelashes before, I was reticent to try them. Being pre-glued, I assume that they can not be used multiple times, as the glue will lose its stickiness. Having to replace them continually could become expensive.

I’ve always been keen to try lash clusters as they seem to just provide more flexibility in where you want to place the lashes plus it was pre-glued too so I was super excited to get this as part of the Discovery Bag. However I was sorely disappointed. These lashes just didn’t work for me. The curl is very sharp and looks almost crimped which I hate because it looks unnatural once they’re on. Positives are that they were very easy to apply and the glue held well, but I just can’t get past the lashes themselves. Up close they don’t blend in with my natural lashes at all because I prefer a more natural curve when I curl them plus it’s impossible to crimp my lashes to look like these. I do like the idea of pre glued lashes but unfortunately the Lizzie style is a bummer for me.

I was recently gifted a discovery bag by Beautyheaven and in there was the Glam by Manicare Pre-Glued Cluster Lashes in Lizzie style.  The box has three sets (three clusters per set).  The first thing I need to say is the instructions on the box and information on the box are NOT very helpful.  On the back it says to visit Facebook for tips and advice but I couldn't find anything specific to these particular cluster lashes.  I wasted about 15 to 20 minutes googling to try and find more helpful information but didn't really get anywhere.  It doesn't state on the box whether they are reusable and if yes, how many times can you reuse them.  Can you use them individually or are they better to use as a full set ie three clusters per eye? Nope, the answers, tips and advice weren't anywhere I could find. As these lashes are meant to go UNDER your own lashes, I did find it a little worrying and also angles were an important factor. I do like the idea of pre-glued, it takes the guessing game out of how long to wait after applying glue before its tacky.  The pro's and cons of cluster lashes as opposed to strip lashes - cons:  They are a little fiddlier.  As they’re smaller, If you’re wearing black and drop one of these things it could take you ages to find.  They were a pain to put back in the box.  pros:  I always have problems with sticking my corners down with strip lashes but with clusters, you can take a little longer with each piece without wondering whether the glue has lost its tackiness.  In a way they are easier to apply than strip lashes and placement is easier.  When I did reuse them, their stickiness was less effective so I did add a little glue.  They are light to wear but I was very conscious of them to start with.  Although by the end of the day, I was looking forward to getting them off maybe because the band on these lashes are a little thicker than some I've used and because they're placed under the lashes, not above as they are usually. I love false lashes, I'm just not very good at applying them.  But I do like the idea of clusters lashes and pre-glued lashes, I actually do think they are a little easier to apply.  

When I saw this as part of the discovery bag I was super excited. I've always loved using individual cluster lashes typically at the ends of my lashes to give that feline, elongated look to my eyes, almost almond in shape. When I attached the few to both my eyes, although I didn't find them to be great at sticking to my eyes without glue, I love the way they look and the amount you get in the pack. I did find I had to use a small amount of glue, but that could be my problem with not knowing how to apply them and what not. But I did find that they looked great. Natural and pretty love!

I won’t lie, I had a little difficulty applying the Glam Ready Pre-Glued Cluster Lashes LUXE – Lizzie at first, but once in place, they stayed securely all night. The lashes have great durability and really hold their shape, making them perfect for special occasions or parties. I wouldn’t recommend them for everyday wear as they’re quite dramatic, but the quality is excellent. For anyone experienced with lash application, these are a fantastic option for achieving a bold, glamorous look effortlessly.

As someone who is usually quite savvy with false eyelashes, I was surprised by how challenging this set was to apply. It's easy to miss that they're intended to be applied underneath your upper lashes, as the pre-glued band makes a top-down application impossible. When I finally got them on, they felt quite uncomfortable, though this could simply be because I'm not used to having lashes on my waterline. On a positive note, the lash clusters themselves are very pretty and appear to be of good quality.

I'm not a regular user of falsies, though I have trialed many single strip falsies. These ones are a bit different in they are cluster lashes, so they can be applied a section at a time to lashes. They are also meant to be applied under the natural lash on the lash itself, not on the waterline. I found this to be trickier that single strips. The smaller parts meant it was harder to see and also more time consuming to apply. The lashes are pre-glued, but if you get the placement wrong and take it off to start again, it no longer seems to stick properly. However, once they are on in the right place, they are fairly comfortable and stay in place for the day. The style itself is big and fluffy, about 2.5 times the length of my normal lashes. I have small eyes so these seem to overwhelm them. I was worried about pulling off my natural lashes when removing this, but it was ok - I just soaked a cotton pad with micellar water, gently pressed on top of closed eye for 30 seconds and then gently pulled off the cluster, and it came off without issue. I think it would work fine for those who enjoy using falsies, just too fiddly for me.

I rarely wear fake lashes because it’s always difficult to apply by myself, they are always uncomfortable and hurt inner corners of my eyes. But these ones surprised me in a good way by how easy it was to apply them. They are already pre-glued and you need to apply them under the lashes which makes them almost unnoticeable and comfortable to wear. By the way it was easy to remove them and I didn’t tear out my lashes with it, which is nice, haha. I used the same set of clusters for few times already and they still look nice and they are still tacky with the glue. I only wish the clusters would go from long to short, to look more natural.

For times or days when I feel like a beautiful boost for my eyes, these have been really great. Personally I'm not a big eyelash user but these are great because they 'half way' there - a bit of a compromise. I found them a bit tricky at first because they get placed actually on the eyelashes (my natural ones) and they stick to them instead of the old-fashioned way of sticking lashes onto the skin. I had my daughter have a look at them with me and we worked it out. They feel beautifully light and it makes me look like I have really good lashes or am wearing a really good mascara! They are already glued so there's no messing about with glue - I love that. These really do give a lavish appearance as promised and they are seriously lightweight. I love that they are 'half' and not full lashes because they are not too over the top. I can actually forget I'm wearing these - until I look in the mirror.
