Gradual Tan

In true Irish fashion, I have a very pale complexion. I decided to try this gradual tan after declaring I'd never use a gradual tan again after my experiences a decade ago... and I'm so glad I did! After 1 application I've got a natural glow, I'm so happy. I have dermatitis on my hands so I used food-prep gloves to apply, and it is totally streak free. Obsessed!

The tanning lotion is magic, goes on so smoothly. Love the fact it doesn't make you,look orange skinned. Nice natural Bali tan. Thanks heaps ,love the product

I have tried a few gradual tan products and this one is by far my favourite. It applies really beautifully (I shave, exfoliate and moisturise before applying - I leave my moisturiser on for a couple of hours first and let that soak in before applying this with a mitt - this has given me the best and most even results), smells nice (a bit artificial but a pretty floral scent - no biscuit smell at all), not sticky if you let it soak in a bit before going to bed, looks natural - not patchy, not too dark/yellow/orange on my very fair, cool skin and lasts a long time (about a week without reapplying and a little seems to go quite a long way). I like a very light tan, just enough to give me a bit of colour and reduce how reflective my skin is, so this is perfect for me. If I'm ever topping up or wanting it a bit lighter, I just dilute it with a bit of plain moisturiser. I did try using this on my face, but it made my skin quite congested, so I have since purchased the matching gradual face tan moisturiser and it works perfectly. I love the natural DHA in both products. I will continue to purchase and use these two products as I'm so happy with the results and application is so easy :)

Things I liked:- Easy to apply and not streaky (but hard to stop it from staining hands and feet)- Smells good (a bit synthetic, though)- Really nice when mixed 50/50 with a moisturiser (I have very pale skin and this was too dark for me on its own, but it was lovely when mixed with my moisturiser - it also meant that I would only have to use half the product for the result I wanted)- Lasts ages on the body after just one application (like 5+ days) and the faded colour was so beautiful (almost like a soft peach tan rather than a yellow colour)- Natural DHAThings I didn't like:- Faded really quickly on my face (didn't really last longer than a day, maybe two at the most)- Caused breakouts on my face and neck - would be nice if this and the other products didn't contain coconut or soybean oil :(- A little bit orange and too dark when applied on its own (however, this can be fixed when mixing it 50/50 with a moisturiser)- Stained my hands and feet really badly - I haven't had this experience with other tanners I've triedOverall, this product isn't for me due to the fact that it caused breakouts and faded so quickly in some spots and very slowly in other spots (hard to keep a consistent colour). It's also a shame that almost all the other Bali Body tan products contain coconut oil and/or soybean oil as these are usually comedogenic and cause skin issues for me.

Never been a fake tanner, this however is a game changer. Easy to apply, and more like a fake tan than your average gradual tanning lotion. Doesn’t smell once applied but develops that normal fake tan smell after an hour or two. Woke up with a beautiful glowy brown tan without the pressure of a normal fake tan

Smells awful and left my arms and back with a serious breakout. I’ve used other products without this issue. Straight in the bin

It’s one of the reasons why I hate self tans, and after a few hours of being on your skin- granted positives for everything else- that smell becomes very apparent. So obvious.

I am very satisfied with the texture, the lotion absorbs very quickly, and the skin feel silky, but it still has that scent which is very unpleasant, although less intense than the self-tanning foam. It is advertised as having a pleasant scent, but that is not true. When you apply it, there is no such smell, but as the colour develops, so does thar scent which reminds you of chemicals. I hope the company will find a solution to eliminate this unpleasant and irritating smell.It's immediately obvious that you have used self-tanning lotion/foam/cream.
