Joico Defy Damage Protective Conditioner 250ml

This conditioner didnt quite manage to prevent the dry knots in my wavy and sometimes frizzy hair after using the natching shampoo. The conditioner and shampoo as a set has a nice smell - a salon like smell! The conditioner did not leave a heavy residue at the time of use, however, my hair did tend to feel heavy and more oily before usual hair washing night (it didnt quite get me my usual 3 days between washes). My hair did feel drier after repeat multiple uses over a few weeks and my frizzy wavy hair was more knotted compared with other conditioners i normally use. It was not quite restorative enough for my hair, especially considering the more premium price attached. I was gifted this product to trial and use.

I like this conditioner, it detangles and smooths my hair, making it much easier to brush and style without causing breakage. My hair feels softer and silkier. It provides nourishment without weighing my hair down or making it look oily.I received this product from Joico to review

I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for 3 weeks now and I use it every second day. I want to fix the damage done to my hair - but I can't tell whether it's repairing my hair or not, because every time I wash (and conditioner) my hair using this professional product it is still tangled, squeaky hair that I wish that I too could say that I have the soft silky hair after using the shampoo. I have to apply twice the amount to achieve the desired results. I will keep using this until I empty the bottle.

The Joico Defy Damage Protective Conditioner was a lovely product to use on my hair. When paired with the Joico Defy Damage Protective Shampoo, the two worked really well. I appreciated that the range focuses on bond strengthening, which is especially important for helping my hair feel stronger, more resilient, and better protected against daily damage. As someone who values maintaining healthy-looking colour, I also liked that these products are designed to support colour longevity without stripping the hair, which makes them feel like a great option for colour-treated hair. I also really enjoyed the scent of both products, as they smelled absolutely gorgeous without being overpowering.

As a bleach blonde girlie, I’m always cautious with conditioners, but the Joico Defy Damage Protective Conditioner has been amazing! It’s rich and creamy without weighing my hair down and it spreads really easy through my usually dry ends. No breakage whilst detangling. After rinsing my hair felt instantly softer and more hydrated which is a big deal for bleached hair. Once I styled my hair, it looked smoother, less frizzy, and noticeably healthier.
