Kativa Brazilian Hair Straightening Kit

Followed the instructions on the box It didn't make my hair straight or less frizzy. Never going to try any kativa brand.

I’ve wanted to do this for a long time but the hair dressers was way expensive then I saw this and got it and wow my hair is straight and feels really soft like it did when I was a kid so recommend

A lengthy process for not so great results. I purchased this in hopes I wouldn’t have to constantly keep my hair done, I have had bleached hair in the past but that was many months ago possibly even last year and it lightened my hair for a start. Now even after the first wash since doing the “treatment” my hair is stringy, hard to brush and still super dry especially at the bottoms. Wouldn’t reach to buy this product again.

I loved this product for a diy at home option if you can’t afford a salon treatment. HOWEVER I am a child of an ex hairdresser and have experience doing these in a salon. For context my hair is naturally VERY frizzy, wavy (think Hermione granger) but somewhat thin and when left natural, is dry and needs a good cut. 1 box was enough for my hair and it is long enough to touch my butt. Advice for this product from my experience… 1. Don’t apply to your roots (learnt the hard way and blister but could be a combination of things) 2. Research before purchasing and application! 3. Dry it throughly before, during and after 4. Use the shampoo and conditioner included to extend the longevity of the results. 5. Take everything with a grain of salt it’s a DIY not a $500+ salon experience… results will vary dependant on application, humidity, hair type, products you’ve previously or currently use on your hair etc. goodluck

My hair is naturally quite unruly, and being a Pacific Island gal, my roots can be a whole situation! So I was honestly impressed with the results. The process took around 3.5 hours, but the end result was definitely worth it. My hair isn’t dead straight, but it’s soft, silky, smooth and so much more manageable — no more unruly, Snoop Dogg-looking roots! I usually pay around $500 at FMK for a similar result, so getting this done for just $25 was an absolute bargain! I’m really happy with the results and would definitely recommend giving it a go. $25 well spent!

Did as instructed. Nowhere near as good as the previous kativa formula. Made very little difference, the followimg day, my hair felt horrible. I Wouldn't recommend it.

A long and tiring process but the results are worth it. It removes any frizz and I always get compliments on how shiny and straight my hair looks. Lasts around 10 weeks though and the first few weeks it leaves a weird smell on your scalp.

I’ve followed the instructions step by step perfectly, it’s done nothing except for give me extra breakage. Doesn’t end up straight whatsoever after blow drying. Not worth trying in my opinion
