KCD2 is probably as close to the original vision Warhorse Studios had when creating KCD1. The world feels utterly breathtaking yet grounded, with I argue the best forests I've ever seen in a video game. I love their take on melee combat making every strike a methodical decision. I'm also a fan of this game's sense of humour, it knows how weird life in 15th century Bohemia can get and is not afraid to make fun of it.
Amazing game and story.. almost lifelike graphics and realism makes you truly feel you are in early 15th century bohemia...
Filling my cup before gta comes out. 11/10. Btw Jbhifi will price match and give you a $10 voucher when you sign up to be a member.
This is for you if you want to feel life in the late middle ages. No, the game is not easy. If you pick a fight with a character, you need to have trained or pay the price. It's a great open world that builds on from the first game. You have complete control of your player, and that decides how you play in the world.
As others have said, ignore those 1 star reviews. Like majority of new release games, they come with a day 1 patch which you'll have to download when you install the game via a disc. The disc can't just magically have the day 1 patch pre-installed... If you enjoyed the first game, then you know what you're in for. It's the same but even better! Highly recommend!

Fantastic game and would highly recommend to anyone who loves open world games with an in-depth skill system. P.S. to these smoothbrains rating this game 1 star because they need to do a day 1 patch update. You are all the same people that complain a game is buggy but then also complain that theres are patches??
Games great, guy leaving one star review below because of the day one patch obviously doesn't understand the concept of patches and how commonplace they are nowadays. Anyways runs leaps and bounds smoother than KDC1, story is engrossing so far highly recommend.
Would give 0 stars if it were possible. If I buy a physical copy of a game, I expect it to at least run without constant issues due to lacking performance compared to the digital version.
JB Hi Fi has deleted a review from somebody which had informed people that this game is missing critical updates on the disc. Considering you are buying a disc and not a patch, it is reasonable to assume that the game works flawlessly from the disc. This is not true. Texture stuttering, huge pop-in, glaring framerate issues in cinematics, clipping issues in combat and visible texture disappearances are unacceptable in a product that costs almost $100. I have screenshotted my own review as well as the one which was last deleted, and if this review is deleted, I will be contacting the ACCC and the Ombudsman.
Shame game on the disc is broken without massive patches.
A huge open world middle ages simulator. If you like Red Dead 2, Skyrim, Witcher 3 etc. this is perfect for you.
