KitchenAid KFP0921 9 Cup Food Processor (Onyx Black)

As so many others have experienced if you search online, these units have badly underpowered motors and burn out with even light usage. Barely used mine at all and one day when I did, a loud POP and the smell of burning plastic.

I have purchased a Kitchenaid 9 cup food processor and after only 5 uses the latch lid has snapped off and now the work bowl is completely broken after one drop. I’ve only hand washed the product but the materials are made with extremely cheap and the plastic is so brittle and crap.

I’ve only used it a handful of times and twice it has gotten overwhelmed and turned off. It wasn’t at max and I didn’t have much in it that would cause it to struggle so much. Ultimately I don’t think it is very powerful at all. But it definitely looks good and has great attachments! I haven’t had much experience with food processors so I’m not sure if this is a common struggle? Will definitely keep using it and see how it goes after a few more uses.

Brough this new processor to replace my 25 year old one. I love it it’s compact and and does everything I need and how stylish it looks sitting on my cabinet with its big brother the stand mixer. I love KitchenAid products can’t wait to add to the family.

We had this for 4 years, I loved it and then it just stopped working. Contacted kitchen aid and it is out of warranty. Nothing they could do for me. Basically told me to throw it out and buy a new one. I would never buy a kitchen aid again. This unit does not last long.

I received my food processor for Christmas and WOW. I have used it almost every day. It does everything I need and more. It is amazing at whipping cream. It all packs away into itself a great feature. I would recommend this food processor for.

I had been looking for a food processor for a very long time and settled on the Kitchen Aide one. I am so glad I did, it’s easy to use, has all the attachments you need and doesn’t take up too much bench spce

I brought the 9 cup food processor, I already have the Kitchen Aid mixer, and a few other things, that match up so it was a no brainer to get this as I’ve had no problems with any of them.

Recently purchased my food processor and I must say it's a fabulous product, powerful, easy to use and a must have in anyone's kitchen. Looking for a amazing helper in your kitchen ...GET ONE!!

Very practical little kitchen gadgets. Hope it can have more extra accessories like different blade, fine shredded plate etc for purchase if it is not come with it.

Very happy with my new food processor. Just can’t go past the quality of Kitchenaid. Recent purchase but already used it several times and very happy with results.

Used the grater attachment on weekend to grater zucchini when pushed through it only grated the end then fell on its side. Tried 3 times did same thing each time

This product is a game changer. From ice cream to dough, salad to salsa it does the lot. Easy to clean and use and this work horse looks great on my bench

Caters for more than I expected. Can cut 5kgs tomatoes in less than 5mins

So happy with this machine. Love the way it all packs away as one. Haven't used it much as yet but when I have it ease of use is great. My only issue that I have is I would of loved it in a white to match my stand mixer. Would also be great if you could get a diced attachment.

I only just bought it and the fact it can do so many functions is incredible.

I purchased the 9 cup processor and it has made meal prepping so quick and easy. Carrots, zucchini’s, cucumbers and more are all sliced or grated in seconds, homemade pesto is just as quick, tastier, healthier (and even cheaper now than store bought jars). Cleaning up was the longest process but since seeing their cleaning video on Instagram even now that’s not a chore. Thanks Kitchenaid for making dinner prepping a breeze.

I wish I had of bought this sooner. An absolute time save and makes preparing food 100 times easier. So helpful when it comes to chopping, dicing, slicing and processing. Really happy with this purchase.

I bought this a month ago and it certainly lives up to my expectations. I love all the attachments - perfect for making bases for sauces, slicing and chopping veggies. sticky date puddings and cakes. It’s great all the attachments can be stored within it. The only thing is it doesn’t fit in our pantry or cupboard as too tall - but looks great on the beach and just means we use it more green. Definitely great value for money.

I purchased the 9 cup processor just in time for making my Christmas goodies, and it didn’t disappoint! Quiet and efficient, and simple to use. I couldn’t ask for better.

I bought this food processor a month ago and used it a few times for chopping vegetables. The first time i used it, I put the vegetables in and started the machine and it started to move side to side quite violently. I thought it was going to fall off the edge.

I bought this food processor because a lot of people said they made their cheesecakes in theirs. It's great for chopping up the biscuit base but can't handle the cream cheese unfortunately. BUT it does make a great Potato bake as it's super fast at prepping the potato slices. And I am looking forward to making sauces or whipping cream with it for Christmas. Just don't attempt to blend cream cheese in it.

I love how this one comes with 4 blades for processing. It means food doesn’t get stuck on the sides or underneath the blade and forms a consistent chop/blend/process.

I no longer own my 9 cup food processor . I bought it specifically to make hummus and other dips in it , and was told it is really good for this . It wasn't . In fact , it performed so poorly trying to make hummus , that l emptied the contents into my old Nutri- Bullet instead . The Nutri -Bullet performed very well and l only ended up with my hummus because of it .. We noticed the size of the motor of the 9 cup processor was the same size as the 3 and a half cup processor . It does not have enough power for things like chick peas ( hummus ingredient ) so it was an expensive mistake . I have now given away the 9 cup Kitchen Aid to a neighbour to use for smoothies , as it is useless for my purposes . .. I wish l had never listened to the pushy sales woman and others about the 9 cup Kitchen Aid being good for hummus .
