L'OREAL ELVIVE GLYCOLIC GLOSS 5 MINUTE LAMINATION 200ML

I used this product yesterday and my hair is completely ruined. It’s dry and brittle and feels like straw! My hair actually looks and feels fried and I’m absolutely mortified. I don’t know if there’s any way to salvage my hair but I’d love a response with why this has done this to my hair (I’m not the only person judging by the reviews) as well as some advice around whether I can save it. Please use this at your own risk.

Did absolutely nothing. Very disappointing. Don’t waste your money.

I use d this three weeks ago on my very straight fine untreated hair that keeps on knotting when I grow it longer than a bob. I have tried many products and they make little difference. I thought I'd give this a go not expecting much, but it's made a huge difference to my hair. Three weeks later and I am still able to run my fingers through my hair witout knotting. My random grey hairs are lying flat and I don't need to hairspray them flat. This product has been a game-changer in giving me silky smooth hair.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The product is trending which makes me believe that it’s only because of paid promotions. My hair feels like straw. No shine infact it stripped the shine I already had completely. My hair is extremely dull. Soo frizzy! And can’t even get a brush through it anymore. I am so disappointed. I researched the tutorials on how to use this product by the book and still ended up completely ruining my hair!!

I was excited to try this when I first bought it, but it was a disappointment to me - perhaps because I didn't buy the shampoo and conditioner to go with it. I didn't mind the extra step in the shower, and it was really nice and smooth to apply, but while my hair felt silky with it on, once I'd rinsed it out I couldn't see or feel any difference when my hair was wet or dry. I did experiment with using more product to try and get some positive results but it really wasn't my favourite thing for my hair at all. Quite possibly if I'd used the whole L'Oreal Gloss range I would have had better results.

My hair has been quite dull lately as it is coloured and I have had other chemical treatments done to it which has made it dry so I am looking at getting some life back into it.After conditioning my hair a couple of times a week I have been treating my hair with this 5 minute treatment. Once rinsed out my hair feels super soft, much more healthier and silky and once dried oh so shiny! As I colour and have chemical treatments often done to my hair I would definitely keep using this at home gloss range to keep my hair looking and feeling healthy. I would recommend this range to everyone as everyone could benefit from it.

After looking at hair gloss treatments i wanted to find something easy to find and use so hearing how good this is I just had to try it. It smells like pink lemonade and the bottle is simple and perfect for getting every last drop out. I have tried this after shampooing with and without conditioner, i have found when i use it with conditioner my hair feels so hydrated and glossy. When i used it without conditioner beforehand my hair was silky and weightless. My hair is dry so i do need extra moisture as the treatment doesn’t weigh your hair down. I was worried this might clog and irritate my scalp but it hasn’t made my scalp feel greasy or irritated at all. It’s such an amazing and unique treatment i have recommended it to all my friends who are needing detangling or just want to add shine to their hair, i will definitely repurchase this in future as it is a luxurious treatment while being so affordable.

I was hoping for better results with this gloss treatment. Granted I haven’t tried the other products within this line, however when I used this lamination product I feel like it didn’t do enough. My hair is softer when I use it but that “glossy” look just doesn’t come through. Interested to know if left longer than the 5 minutes if that will make a difference. Don’t know if I will repurchase.
