Pros:My hair feels really soft after using it, all brassy tones are out of my hair Cons: it’s definitely not blonde. In fact, I’d say it’s darkened rather than lightened my hair. I started with a light brown colour with a slight red tinge and I would say it’s now a darker ash colour. Honestly though I don’t hate it and I wasn’t set on going lighter anyway! But I would recommend going a lighter shade if you’re set on blonde!

I bought the L'Oreal Excellence Creme in Ash Blonde (8. 1). The box supplies gloves (that are a little too small for my hands), a 72ml bottle of developer with comb attachment, a 48ml tube of colouring cream (so that's about 120ml of formula - if I had long hair I would have needed two kits), post colouring shampoo and conditioner. This has been my favourite colour so far. It has lightened me without turning me orange, which is something I tend to do when I try and go a couple of shades lighter. It didn't completely cover my greys but thats okay as I don't have that many (yet). I was very happy with this colour and will look for it again.
