Directions HOW TO USE: - Apply 1-2 drops of this serum for dry, sensitive skin both morning and evening on face and neck on freshly cleansed face and before moisturiser. - Gently press onto the face and neck until the serum is fully absorbed - Avoid repeatedly massaging the face serum in circles. - Wait at least 30 seconds before applying other skincare products. - If using highly active ingredients in skincare routine: - Regularly use (Skin with tolerance) - use cicaplast B5 serum last. -Starting to use (building up tolerance) - use cicaplast B5 serum first RECOMMENDED DAILY SKINCARE ROUTINE WITH THE CICAPLAST B5 SERUM: For best results for hydrating skin repair and protection, use the products in the order listed below: 1. After hearing heaps of reviews about how good this product is for repairing your skin barrier, I had to give it a go. Gives me such a healthy glow. Currently on my second bottle.

Basic hydrating serum

This serum comes in a 30ml glass bottle and the dropper is separate so you need to take the lid off the serum and screw the dropper on. I found the dropper a bit tricky to grab serum and at times I had to dip it into the serum 3 or 4 times as it just doesn't like to suck the serum up. The serum is thick and a cloudy white colour. When I dispense some serum on my fingers I can smell something but I'm not sure what it is as it's just noticeable. Applying the serum to my skin it spreads easily and has a great slip to it. It's a non-oily gel serum. My skin doesn't feel tacky after application. I found the serum absorbs fast into my skin. After application this serum leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I love the feel of this. It makes my makeup sit so well too. I haven't really noticed much from this serum and considering the price point I did kind of expect more but will keep using it as I love the feel of this serum and may notice more with time.

Perfect skin-barrier repair

I bought to add into my skincare regimen post-microneedling. After 3 months with it, I can say this has been my favourite serum and product in my skincare routine. My skin has never felt healthier (sure, microneedling has helped my skin itself) where it feels insanely hydrated and the skin barrier looks better than it has ever been (like half my lifetime ago). The serum's texture is amazing and glides onto the skin well. It absorbs at a perfect rate and is perfect with other cosmetics/dermatologiques before and after. For reference, my skin is combination, with an oily T-zone, and normal cheeks/elsewhere. I am currently on a regular microneedling schedule, using the retinoid adapalene daily, and using some hyaluronic serums and vitamin C.

Not for me

I used up a whole bottle because I found the Hyalu B5 serum too sticky. While the cicaplast B5 serum's texture is lightweight and non-greasy, I didn’t find any improvements to my skin. I still think Hyalu B5 produces better results- reduces appearance of fine lines, makes skin plump and bouncy, and is super hydrating!

Amazing product for rosacea

I’d been experiencing a rosacea flare for around 3 weeks and nothing seemed to help (including other LRP products that I use daily). I bought the serum and immediately noticed that my skin calmed down. I so thrilled - I’d got to the point where I thought I’d need prescription medication and then this serum worked. I’m using it in conjunction with the tolerance rosaliac AR moisturiser and the cicaplast baume B5+. They’re such lovely, calming products. Thank you LRP.

Soft and Hydrated Skin

Great all year round, comforting in cooler months and post skin treatments. Using the pipette that comes with the serum separately then doubles as the lid I draw up enough to disperse 1-2 drops and gently massage it into my skin. The serum is cloudy white in colour, mild scent and it is lightweight in consistency it absorbs beautifully (it isn’t sticky)quickly leaving my skin feel soft and hydrated. I only had to wait 30 seconds or so before following with my day or night moisturiser. My skin feels so much softer, it feels and is visibly much more hydrated and moisturised then it was before using this serum.
