The only hairbrush my daughter will use, it doesn't pull hair and I don't have complaining the whole time I'm doing her hair now.

My daughter has an awfully sensitive head when it comes to snags...this brush takes aways the pain and she instructed me to leave a 5 star review!

Love this brush it is so good!! I brought it for my daughter who struggled to brush her own hair - this brush has made our morning routine so much smoother!!

First thing first, I love anything that would introduce colour into my life! It’s hard for a brush to stand out from the crowd because as long as you avoid the cheap plastic ones you find at the dollar store, all other brushes are basically the same to me. It’s gentle on the scalp and doesn’t tug at my hair but so do all my other brushes. You know what won me over? The rainbow bristles are so cute and looking at it in my bathroom just makes me happy. So for that alone I give it 5 stars! If you don’t currently own a large brush, I say this is the perfect brush to get.

The Lady Jayne GemTip Rainbow Brush is delightfully pretty with its multi-coloured pastel bristles. The bristles are fine, soft and flexible and is gentle to use. It is suitable for all hair types, either curly or straight, and provides pain-free hair detangling. Plus, the lightweight plastic makes it easy to hold. The website says it can also be used during washing, to distribute shampoo and conditioner. It is recommended to always start brushing from the hair ends and working up, to avoid pulling breakage.

Beautyheaven sent me a discovery bag of things to discover and try.  In the bag was the Lady Jayne Gemtip Rainbow Brush.  This is a brush specifically for detangling and for all hair types.  On the back of the packaging it states that the Rainbow Brush was designed with little ones in mind.  This is probably why they've gone with colourful bristles.  This doesn't mean it cant be used on adults but I've only used it on myself.  The pastel coloured bristles don't bother me and its not as if I put my hairbrush on display.   I have bra strap length hair which is curly and frizzy and always knotty.  I've been using this on my damp hair when I get out of the shower (unwashed and washed hair) instead of my usual comb.  It does say it can be used on wet hair.  It goes through my hair more easily than the comb and does not leave my hair any frizzier.  It takes up more room than a comb (duh because its a brush) so in a bathroom that's already crammed full of beauty products it takes up precious real estate but for the moment its earned its place. 

Oh goodness! Finding this in the discovery bag as part of the trial team, I was initially unimpressed, I'll be honest. Firstly I'd never used a brush with plastic bristles before and the flexibility of the top of the brush and the bends and moves it does I've never had in just a regular hair brush. But my goodness!! I am obsessed with this hair brush from Lady Jayne. I definitely did judge a book by its cover and thought to myself that this brush isn't going to be any good for my hair. But yes I was totally wrong! I love the way this brush makes my scalp feel and I definitely have a sensitive scalp. It brushes every strand and slightly massages my scalp making it feel soothed. It might sound silly but my hair does feel softer and shinier ever since brushing with it for this short amount of time. I think that may be due to the soothing effect this brush gives to my scalp.

At first, I thought the GemTip Rainbow Brush Large was a bit delicate and soft, but I quickly realized that this is exactly what makes it so ergonomic and unique. I have never used a brush that feels so comfortable in my hand while working through my hair. It effortlessly detangles my hair without causing any pain or irritation to my scalp. The design really adapts to your hand and hair texture, making every brushing session smooth and enjoyable. I’m genuinely impressed by how effective and gentle this brush is—it has completely changed my daily hair routine!

This cute, rainbow-bristled brush is a fun one for younger teens. The bristles are super soft and don't hurt, and the gaps between them help them glide better through tangly hair. I won't call it effortless (!) but it's certainly better than most brushes and much more gentle, especially on tender scalps. The brush is quite large though not at all heavy and covers a lot of hair so it doesn't take long - my test was on very thick, wavy but not curly, hair with a lot of tangles and it worked well and left hair smooth and not frizzy as some brushing does. I haven't tried it with blow trying but I suspect it would work fine - though not very targeted and maybe too big for a fringe or front pieces (there is a mini version). Lady Jayne has been around a very long time and is easy to find and well priced. They certainly know a lot about detangling!
