Lantern Alley Fried Shallots 100g

Adding quick flavour to the meal. It is a great pantry addition for adding quick flavour and crunch to meals. The shallots are crisp, aromatic, and have a clean, savoury taste without any bitterness. They work perfectly as a topping for noodles, congee, stir‑fries, salads, or even Western dishes that need a little extra texture.

Crunchy stuff. These are good! As aomeone when regularly has a larger box of fried shallots from the asian grocer, I can’t say that these are the best value but cheap nonetheless! The size of the box is small though so very easy to go through. They are crispy and add a nice crunch, similar texture and size to what you get from a packet of Mie Goreng. I like adding it to my chilli oil blend or on top of a stir fry.

Extra. This product is a garnish. It's yum. Some bits can be difficult to chew, and are probably bits of shallot skin that have made its way into the mix.

Flavour addition. Great to add in salads and soups as a little flavour burst, also the crunchy texture is always fun to find.

Yummy crunchy toppings. Awesome to put on top of rice, noodles or soup! Just sprinkle a bit or a lot, gives extra flavour and love the crunch too!
