Just like everyone else, I obviously had to get my hands on the mysterious Ronin figure the moment it dropped. I'm considering picking up the Tahu figure as well, but frankly, I only know Bionicle exists because of G2, so I do not want to look like a larper lol. As for the rest of the series, I will not even bat an eye since they're kinda whatever, but hey—there is a thing for everyone, I guess. Anyway, as a Ninjago fan since day one, I am incredibly glad I have lived long enough to see Lloyd enter his edgelord era! Even better, the designers found a brilliant way to sneak him into the lineup by just slightly altering his features without explicitly naming him. Thanks to that, the figure benefits heavily from the higher budget of the CMF line, rocking dual-molded elements, detailed side printing, and all that good stuff. While it is a bit bizarre to get a non-canon variation of a pre-existing modern character in a random CMF series rather than an official remake set, I think it actually works in his favor. It leaves so much room for creative storytelling and personal headcanons, which perfectly embodies LEGO's core motto. Overall, it is a fantastic minifigure. The rest of the wave feels pretty gimmicky since the other characters are either meh or questionable, but I suppose that is standard for CMF. My only lasting complaint is the new cardboard packaging. Not a fan of it, as the parts inside just float around freely without any protection. LEGO should seriously consider using plastic wraps or inner bags to keep parts from getting scratched during transit.
I really enjoy this set, being able to collect 1 of 12 possible minifigures. I really liked all of these and was very happy with the minifigure I ended up getting, having unique detailing and very interesting theming that made the minifigure really nice to have!
Bought 5 of these for myself. Four of them were the ninja, and one was the princess. Pictured are the three I got today. The other two are not pictured. Feeling absolutely ripped off by the poor selection of them. Other figures look nice but after buying 5 and getting done like this I'm out.
I have never bought a minifigure series before and did not know how they work. I purchased one and didn't understand the price or variety. Now that I realize you only get one, I feel I am totally going to miss out on the one(s) I want. It is out of stock too. I would have bought more if I knew! I have gotten Halloween parts packs before that had all the parts in them that they show in the pile.
I feel like Series 29 was sorta fun. It's more difficult with the boxes. I think for Series 30, LEGO should just bring back the bags that the Minifigs come in. The only reason LEGO did the boxes was to make more money, and I want the bags back. But... still a good series.
With a green suit, eyes as green as life, it's obviously Lloyd!I love the new cloak, different armour colour, and a new face plate.Deffintly recommend!
I haven't even watched the show but the figure's cool regardless. For fans I would imagine they'd be even more desirable...overall a pretty good minifigure series.
I got a bunch of the mysterious ronin’s because they just look so cool!! Arm printing and really intricate leg printing as well as a new dual molded head gear piece. It’s perfect for ninjago fans and castle fans cause it makes a good rogue.
We purchased the Lloyd, Bionicle, Boba and T.rex and the detail on these minifigures are insane. Lloyd has dual molded legs and detailed arm printing. Also the new mask/hair element is so good. Well done to LEGO. The Bionicle is not as interesting to me as I am a NINJAGO fan but Tahu too has dual molded legs and a new (I think it's new) helmet piece. Then the boba I think is great, but it has no leg or torso printing which is a bit of a let down for a minifigure series. But I do like the massive boba costume (highly detailed). Lastly is the T.rex. It is perfect. It has side leg printing to complement the arm printing and the high level of detail on the head, torso, and legs (even the tail)! Overall, I think that the minifigures purchased truly shows how much care LEGO puts into making their products. Also shout out to Ted and Alex who helped us get the minifigures we wanted!
