Best build

I loved building and playing with it, especially since I got it a week ago when I was sick with COVID, I loved playing with it since it cheered me up

Lacking quality play experience

The building experience is great, but the play experience is very poor with this set. Until now we have always had five star experiences with every LEGO set, and this one isn’t all bad, other than the poor play experience. It has the moving features we love in the technics sets, but it’s awkward, is barely functional, and my grandson finds it so frustrating. Within a short time he was so frustrated he just wanted to dismantle it and put it back in the box. I convinced him to keep it for display. It does look great.

Simple

This set is easy to put together. It is a simple set, so there is not much for functionality. The back moves up and down, kinda hard to open the clamp to pick anything up. The hood could open to reviel a simple engine. You get what you pay for

Poor Instructions

The set itself is pretty ok, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. There is one large piece that is easy to flip around, and it isn't clear right away in the instructions which way to orient it. I ruined one of the stickers in the process and had a very frustrating build.
