Lg Soundbar

Fantastic sounding soundbar. 800 watts of pure joy. No hdmi cable included so get a good quality one and your all set. Sound is amazing.

Not User Friendly

It's good once you figure out the DTS settings on the Sound Bar and your TV, it's not user friendly for people who aren't tech savvy. Without DTS the sound quality is not very good at all.

Great value for money, but not the best.

This soundbar packs a powerful amount of sound, but at the cost of quality. You’ll need to make sure you play around with the sound settings in the mobile app to get a suitable quality of sound. The sub woofer is way too over powered, acting more like a “speaker” than an actual sub. And the soundbar itself only shoots the sound out straight forward, so don’t be expecting any Spatial Audio like what the Sonos system is capable of. It was also disappointing that there was no HDMI cable included in the box. It only came with an optical cable which is giving issues when trying to turn the tv and soundbar on at the same time. I often have to keep going back into the sound settings to switch it over. It is also way too short when you have the speaker resting on a cabinet and the tv wall mounted. Overall, the speaker is good value for money.

Finally a good one

After trying other sound bars over the years, finally one that is loud enough and sounds great. Setup is easy with the LG TV and fully connects via bluetooth

Great sound and powerful.

Not as slim as most soundbars, but still looks good and it has great clear powerful sound. I was a little worried the height of the soundbar may intrude slightly on the TV display, but it didn't by bringing the sound bar slight forward on the cabinet + we sit on a 5" elevated floor (cinema room). The soundbar doesn't have dolby atmos, but for me I don't think I could have heard the difference. With the 800W (another reason for purchasing), playing music the sound is crisp and powerful without any distortion when pumping up the volume. Playing movies was the same with crisp, clear and powerful. I have a 4 x 5' enclosed room and the surround sound from the soundbar was definitely noticeable and enjoyable. Very happy combining this soundbar (at a good discount) with the LG 86".

No Dolby Atmos

While the sound produced is ok, I'm very disappointed that this product only has support for Dolby Digital, a technology that has been around since the late 80's. I bought this with a new TV that has Dolby Atmos, making this new sound bar worthless to me. If I had been advised of this limitation when JB sold it to me, I would not have bought it. Serves me right for not doing my own research and being too trusting.

Awesome Sound

This soundbar is amazing ! It’s far exceeded my expectations its quality of sound and the bass of the subwoofer. It’s much better than the 4 free standing speakers I had in each corner, and is a very convenient minimalist neat look in my theatre room. Love it - definitely recommend it.
