I went to buy the red lipstick yesterday. While I tried the sample I was fond of it, I liked it. I made my mind to buy the lipstick but to my surprise the actual product I picked up was completely different from sample one. The packaging was different moreover the weight was also different. The sample piece was much heavier than the actual one. For at once I felt like the actual product has nothing inside. Maybelline should address this issue as we consumer are buying your expensive products on the basis of sample products.

I finally found my ride-or-die transfer-proof lipstick — and it’s the Maybelline Superstay Matte Lip Ink in Voyager 50! I’d only tried a transfer-proof formula once before (for my uni graduation, no less) and it was such a letdown that I almost swore off the whole category. But wow… Voyager 50 came in like a redemption arc. I applied it right before heading to a Korean restaurant, fully expecting it to disappear the moment charcoal BBQ smoke hit my face. Then came the Korean stew… and the fried chicken… and somehow this lipstick just said, “Not today.” Through all the oil, heat, and general delicious chaos, it did. not. budge. Not even a sad little patch missing. It was still bold, smooth, and perfectly intact when I left. The shade Voyager 50 is gorgeous too — dramatic without being too much, and it made me feel like I was having my own main character moment over kimchi. If you’ve been burned by transfer-proof promises before, consider this your sign: Maybelline actually understood the assignment. 💄🔥

The Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink is one of my favourite lip products. It is totally matte, and it has good staying power. It looks fresh even after eating a meal. It comes with a soft doe foot applicator and because it is not very runny, it is easy to achieve precise application. One of the very nice things with this lip product is that it can be worn over regular lipstick to achieve a matte look and different lip shades. I own this product in multiple colours and wear on a daily basis.

It's really quite nice. Expect what it advertises - a bold, matte, transfer-proof lipstick.

I have been buying Maybelleine lipsticks for years loved them but recently they have changed the cylinder it is cheap and nasty and they won't wind down

I bought this a few days ago in the colour "Artist". I loved the colour, and the matte finish, but Oh, My Goodness - I couldn't cope with the sickly sweet fragrance which overpowered everything. I think it was vanilla, but not sure. I left it on for half an hour or so, just to see if it improved (or the fragrance disappeared), but it was still horrid. And the taste of it is extremely bitter. It's going in the bin. Absolute waste of money.
