Battle system, Bros attacks, World, Bros moves

A amazing revival of the series, this game, even though the story is a little cringe, the gameplay is amazing, the bros attacks are great, just like the bosses. The overall world design is amazing too

Fun, New and Interesting RPG!

Such a good game! Literally love it! Coming from someone who has played a vast majority of all the Mario and Luigi RPG games it is up there!

A middle-of-the-road Mario adventure

Positives: a new Mario & Luigi RPG(!!!), charming graphics, new characters galore, lots of variety in locations, side quests to make the game less linear, combat is pretty faithful yet fresh, enemies have well varied attack patterns, some good music. Negatives: a lot of excessive dialogue which really drags down the pacing and story, Luigi's battle select button is A for some stupid reason, it takes far too long to unlock new mechanics which makes combat and overword tedious and tiresome, most of the side quests amount to nothing of note and are boring, lots of recycled enemies early on in the game, a stupid amount of back-tracking in general, not enough bosses, most music is forgettable and frequent stuttering hampers gameplay. There's lots to love but it just doesn't live up to the greats in the series. I won't be playing it again.
