Medela Contact Nipple Shield Small

Breastfeeding became much more comfortable after using the Medela Contact Nipple Shields. They helped protect sore nipples while still allowing my baby to latch well during feeds. The soft silicone feels gentle, and they're easy to clean and reuse. I appreciated having them during the early weeks when feeding was more challenging. They gave me the confidence to continue breastfeeding and made a noticeable difference.

Recieved these from my lactation consult and I must say if you are looking for a nipple shield these are by far the best on the market. However the stick will begin to fade with time as you need to constantly clean them and the baby gets used to the shield which can make it VERY difficult to transition them back to regular breastfeeding. Just biggest tip is to make sure the sizing fit you right!

We started using these when Bub wouldn’t latch in hospital as recommended by the midwife’s. They were great! Baby took to them straight away with no issues. Unfortunately I had to pivot from breastfeeding to pumping to monitor intake but I’m happy that I was able to breastfeed my lo albeit for a short time

These nipple shields were an absolute lifesaver. I had a feeling I wasn’t gonna be able to breastfeed due to my nipple shape and my midwife put me onto these and they have solved all my problems. I cannot recommend these enough to mums they help the baby latch as well as protect the nipples from cracking and drying out. I’m so glad I found these.

These nipple shields were a lifesaver when I first came home from hospital, as I was having difficulties getting baby to latch properly. Although, I did find that they would often come off and not stay in my nipples properly, despite being the correct size. This lead to milk going everywhere and was always messy. I used the shields for about 2 weeks and removing them had been great, but now I struggle getting baby to latch deep enough, as she is so use to just hopping onto the shield. I’d still recommend if you are having troubles because they do help a lot!

These Medela Contact Nipple shields were a great addition to my breastfeeding journey, however my baby is very fussy so we didn’t use them for long. I can see these being very beneficial for others, unfortunately it didn’t work out for me and my fussy baby. I think if I introduced these earlier in my breastfeeding journey it may have worked better for me.

The product was comfortable and easy to use. A must have for new moms trying to breastfeed. I received the smaller size product which didn’t fit me well that’s the only issue I faced.

Absolutely saved my breastfeeding journey. They are comfortable to slide on, easy to clean and the size M fit me well. I've bought about 5 more sets so I have them with ne everywhere.

I never thought I’d need nipple shields, but in those early, raw weeks of breastfeeding, the Medela Contact Nipple Shields were honestly a lifesaver. After a painful start, cracked nipples, shallow latch, and a very hungry newborn. I was close to giving up. A lactation consultant suggested I try these, and they completely changed the game for us. They’re soft, super thin, and easy to use (even when you’re sleep-deprived and emotional). The cut-out design meant Lexi could still feel and smell my skin, which I loved & it didn’t feel like there was a huge barrier between us. Most importantly, they gave my body time to heal without having to stop breastfeeding. I only needed them for a couple of weeks, but they gave me the confidence and relief I needed to keep going. I know they’re not for everyone, but for me, they were a gentle, effective tool at a time when I felt overwhelmed and in pain. So thankful for products like this that support the messy, beautiful reality of feeding our babies.

They were amazing they helped so much. I would highly recommend for any new mums considering purchasing these. These were so comfortable to wear. They were also really easy to clean.
