You'll love the ability to check your sleeping baby's temperature without disturbing them. Simply point the thermometer to the forehead and click scan to get a reading in less than a second. The Medescan 2 in 1 thermometer offers patented technology which allows the user to choose adult or child mode for added accuracy. You can also remove the magnetic tip to reveal the ear thermometer and take the temperature through the ear. The Medescan 2 in 1 automatically switches to ear mode when the probe cover is removed and returns to touchless mode when the magnetic probe cover is returned. When using the thermometer for the first time, please load the batteries. Press and release the Measure/Mute-unmute button in one second to power on. Press the Mode/ Memory button to choose or . Then point the temperature probe at the center of the forehead, with a distance of 1-3 cm. Press and release the Measure/Mute-unmute button in 1 second. The beep is heard, you can now read the value. NOTE: The forehead measurement is an indicative reading. The measured forehead temperature can fluctuate up to 1 ºF/0.5 ºC from your actual body temperature.
