Medi-Ice Pak

Medi-Pak works by contracting blood vessels reducing internal bleeding. This reduces swelling, while numbing pain and easing discomfort.

Cold Therapy: Store Medi-pak in freezer. Insert into cover. Place on affected area.Heat Therapy: Place Medi-pak flat in microwave, set power on lowest setting. Heat for 2 minutes or place Medi-pak in a suitable vessel and pour boiling hot water on the pak and rest in hot water for 3 - 5 minutes to reach the required temperature.

Apply Medi-Pak cold for the relief of headaches, burns, scalds, toothache, insect bites, muscle aches and sprains, nose bleeds, prickly heat and most sporting injuries.Medi-Pak can be used as a hot pack for the relief of back ache, tense muscles and mild arthritic conditions and period pain.

Use as per instructions on label.Cold TherapyStore medi-pak in the freezer. Apply over a cloth or bandage. If the application becomes uncomfortable, remove pack for a few minutes from affected area, then re-apply. Persons with circulatory problems should not use cold compression except as directed by a doctor.Directions for Hot TherapyMicrowave instructions: Place Medi-Pak flat in microwave, set power on lowest setting. Heat for 2 minutes. Note: Microwave ovens vary. Lower or higher wattage ovens can require more or less time to heat to proper temperature. Check temperature by cautiously touching Medi-Pak. If too hot, let cool. If not hot enough, reheat on lowest setting at 30 second intervals. WARNING: Do not heat in microwave for more than 3 minutes at one time. Excessive heating may cause it to rupture or leak.Hot Water Instructions: Place Medi-Pak in a suitable vessel and pour boiling hot water into the vessel. Allow the pack to sit in the water for 3 to 5 minutes to reach the required temperature.Infants and Elderly: Exercise greater care when Medi-Pak is being used by infants and elderly. Give careful consideration if Medi-Pak is too hot or too cold before applying to infants or elderly. Consider storing Medi-Pak in fridge (not freezer) when Medi-Pak is to be used by infants and elderly.Storage and Cleaning Instructions: After use inspect for damage. Discard if damaged. If pack not damaged, rinse off pack with warm water. Dry with a disposable cloth and apply appropriate disinfectant. Rinse if required and then thoroughly dry before storage, store in a cool area out of direct light or place in a clean plastic bag/container and store in fridge or freezer.
