Miele Boost CX1 Parquet Bagless Vacuum

I might design a Miele Vacuum Protogen just to ship myself with it. Owned for over a year and every time something awful happened, like I sucked up an important object or the time came for a deep clean, that job became a pleasant experience of admiring its superior features. I've never been so impressed by a cleaning machine. Is being 27 really this sad?

Absolutely useless on carpet! Great if you have tiles or hardwood floors but if you have carpet let alone pets, you might as well be using a broom. It will roll hair, fur and dust into a ball after 6 swipes over the same spot but won’t actually pick it up. Secondary is its heavy and annoying to roll after you. Do Not Buy!

Excellent unit great cleaning ability compact lightweight easy to use. Delivery was excellent and got the unit within 15 minutes of purchase

Bought the CX1 thinking Miele would be a reliable brand and after reading some reviews. Sadly mistaken. It glides over carpet but doesn't pick up. Constantly taking the head off to use the stick to pick up crumbs, hair dirt I can see but it won't pick up. Took it back after a couple of months complaining of its lack of suction, to have it sent away for 2 weeks, only to come back exactly the same. Very disappointed.

I returned item to Miele for repair once already (within a year of purchase and with light use ) and now it shorts out and will only sometimes turn on. It is only a year and a half old. It’s the worst quality vacuum I have ever purchased. Buyer beware DO NOT purchase this lemon. Miele brand used to be good. Not anymore. Spend your money on another brand.

After having a Miele cleaner for over 20 years, this was an obvious choice as we wanted a lighter, compact bagless cleaner. The three Boost models are identical apart from colour and attachments and as this was at a very good price and we have very little carpet it was the ideal choice. It is eady to use, manoeuvrable and easy to empty. Taking the time to thoroughly clean the dust receptacle and filters keeps the cleaner performing like new.

So easy to use, great suction for carpet and rugs, light to move around. Easy to clean out being bagless. Never going back to a stick vacuum.

I love this vacuum. It’s very powerful. So easy to attach the parts. Makes no noise.

Light, quiet, robust. Cord and extension rod good length. I use the parquetry brush for under the sofa.

I've had Miele before, and can tell a significant improvement from my previous vaccum. CX1 Parquet is much quieter and lighter. Perfect for timber floor.

Very, very happy with this vacuum. Fantastic on both carpet and hard floors, vinyl and tiles. Simple to use and clean, relatively quiet, easy to manoeuvre, good cord length and handy set of attachments. Great value for money!

I have Marmoleum floors a Jack Russell and 4 boys & this vacuum is great! Does all the work you need it to, a thin head that fits under the fridge and swivels into corners and is easy enough for the boys to use and empty. Love that the other brush head attachments are small enough to store on the vacuum handle so you don’t lose them! Great compact, yet powerful vacuum that looks a bit Star Warsish - so it’s a winner in this house 👌🏼

…which is exactly what you want you want it to do! Picks up stuff deep in the carpet, and in some places it even picks up the carpet (ok that part is less good, but I blame that on the old carpet glue stuff). Useful tools/attachments as well. Really good cord range too.

Great machine, easy to use. Easy to empty & clean especially having 2 dogs
