Soft hair though no effect on frizz

I had a small travel size (100ml) of this and the conditioner in my stash so decided it was time to review and use up. This is made in Australia by TRESemme who are owned by Unilever. I used it on my grey but dyed/highlighted shoulderlength fine hair. I am prone to frizziness so am always looking for something to help this. The shampoo is thick and white with a nice smell. I found it lathered up well without leaving my hair squeaky clean. It rinsed out well and didn't leave any noticeable smell on my hair. After using it with the conditioner I felt my hair was clean, soft and with a little more volume although it didn't have much effect on the frizziness, although to be honest not many shampoos do. I would buy this as a good shampoo (and conditioner) and look to control the frizz with other products. I did notice that it made the shower floor a little slippery.

Hydrates Well, but Too Rich for My Oily Hair

I bought TRESemmé Moisture Rich Shampoo because my hair has recently been through an ordeal & I felt my ends needed extra moisture. My hair is oily & my "Holy Grail" shampoo is TRESemmé Cleanse & Replenish, so I trusted TRESemmé. I usually have to shampoo every second day when using a white cream shampoo like this one, but my hair required daily shampooing (or dry shampoo) with Moisture Rich. In fairness, it targets dryness, not oily hair. But I liked its sweet fragrance, the thick texture & easy lather that left my hair feeling soft.  NOTE: I did not use the matching conditioner as I dislike TRESemmé conditioners & don't believe one must use shampoo & conditioner from the same brand. Good but not blown away

After using the moisture rich shampoo for a while, I did not notice any real improvement to my damaged hair. I have found that some of tressxeme's other shampoos have worked better, but if you are suing the moisture rich conditioner I would still recommend this shampoo. I believe that it does have potential, it just didn't work personally for me. The bottle however is very nice, as it is made from recycled plastic and has a nice large pump. The packaging feels very sturdy, and is easy to use. Overall, the shampoo didn't harm my hair, but it didn't improve it much either.
