Purchased on a Monday woke up Tuesday face was red extremely hot and sore and blistering it was covered bumps that felt like sand paper and just felt raw and incredibly sore. It’s been four days and it’s still causing pain and discomfort. Do not purchase this product.

i tried this face wash out as i was needing a cleanser that would be an alternative to the cerave salicylic acid cleanser and decided to try this one out. biggest mistake ever. my face had swollen to the point that i couldn’t even blink properly because my eyes were nearly swollen shut. my face burned like someone was sticking needles into my skin and i ended up needing to go to the doctors for steroid cream to soothe it. there are several other reviews saying the same thing, i don’t know wtf neutrogena has put in this because they may as well label it a hydrochloric acid cleanser instead of a salicylic acid cleanser considering how much of an adverse reaction it’s causing to people’s skin. anyways DO NOT BUY IT unless you’re into making your skin suffer xoxo

I bought this 2 days ago and have since reacted quite adversely to it. I don’t have sensitive skin at all and I have been left with a horrible rash, my whole face is stinging, I have very puffy eyes and just have leftme with very dry, very sore skin. I’m not alone in this and I don’t know why this is still being sold.

After two days of using this cleanser, half of my face and my eyes became extremely swollen. My skin also felt very dry. I don't have sensitive skin, and this is the only new product in my daily routine, previously I used oif free pink Grapefruit cleanser and everything was fine. I advise against purchasing this product, and after reading several reviews with similar experiences, Neutrogena should seriously consider removing this face wash from the market. I will be warning others about this product wherever I can.

After using this cleanser for a few days, my skin became irritated, scaly, flaky, itchy and pimples started showing up especially around my jawline. I stopped using it and it's slowly getting better but has done damage to my skin. Reading reviews, it doesn't seem like I'm the only one who has had this type of reaction. I've used other Neutrogena cleansers for years and haven't had this happen. I'm not sure with so many one star reviews why it's still on the shelves.

I used to use this when I was a teen. Now that my kids are now teens I went back to the same trusted product. We were a little apprehensive as they have sensitive skin but so far, we have had no issues

I always find myself coming back to this cleanser from my cupboard of many choices. I've lost count of how many times I've purchased this product. Among all the brands I've experimented with, I find this the best cleanser within its price range. It's the perfect balance of being effective in cleaning the skin without being overly harsh or drying. I do prefer using it after removing makeup and sunscreen, otherwise I find it neccessary to double cleanse. It doesn't have a smell. While I haven't observed any significant improvements in my acne or blackheads, I still highly recommend this cleanser due to its overall pleasant qualities.

I’ve used this face wash for a month and I’m pleased with the result. It is not stripping or overly drying to the skin, and does not have an overpowering scent. It foams up nicely and leave your skin feeling clean.
