Noisiest appliance ever!

You will need to block your ears and advise your neighbours that the noise will be extreme. Even when you select Max Blend, making a simple smoothie is not great. I used semi dry dates, nuts. It doesn't do job as advertised.

You get what you pay for

I bought my ninja after my kuvings motor went after 18mo, tte ninja had issues before I'd even finished paying it off?! I do not recommend, save your money, spend the extra and get a quality brand. Very dissappointed, don't bother. For the same price I'd buy kuvings which is also crap but worked better than the ninja at this point in.

Worked well for just under 2.5 years

It worked well for just under 2.5 years, then stopped working completely. I asked the company, SharkNinga NZ, to remedy - to which they declined, stating "General consensus is that 2-5 years is considered a reasonable life expectancy for a mid-range personal blender".

Doesn’t cut it!

This doesn’t finely chop, blend or pulp herbs onions, garlic. For example o like to Finley mince my garlic and onion so it’s not chunky. This doesn’t do it. I like to make herb sauces and dips this also doesn’t do it? Good for smoothies. But I can’t think what else?

Excellent easy to use and clean blender

Very efficient blender, does exactly what I want it to do, crushes large ice cubes very easily, blend's all sorts of ingredients, great recipe book to try out different smoothies, milkshakes, dips, veggie drinks and cocktails. Plus the different auto settings do a great job on blending ingredients when parts stick to the top of the container.

It’s okay

Terrible cap/lid design having it screw inside the bottle as opposed to outside - leaks and harder to clean. Blends very well, plenty of power. Would opt for another option purely due to the lid design

Worth it

Very good. Blends beautifully compared to my old Nutri bullet. Just clean after every wash and you won’t have problems. Super happy

Metallic dust

Up close, it appears to be composed of high-quality materials and blends most things easily. However, if you want it to last, consider looking elsewhere. After 1 1/2 years, the blades began to emit a burnt smelling dust. The flavour was not particularly pleasant. This is my second blender, the same model. Fortunately, I had this one under JB HIFI special care (warranty).

WAY TO NOISY

Great blender, unfortunately it is SO loud I'm ready to bin it

Way too loud!

Bought this for my daily smoothies, got great reviews and our previous smoothie maker was super loud. While it easily blends frozen fruit, the noise is so outrageously loud we can no longer use it. It wasn't as bad when we first bought it in January, but by November it is loud enough to wake the dead. Tossing out and looking for a different brand now. Do not recommend.

Worst blender I’ve owned

This blender is the worst I’ve ever owned. It’s near impossible (well impossible without causing both the ring and base damage) to remove the silicone ring around the part with the blades but if you don’t, it stinks from never being cleaned or dried properly.

True Ninja Quality

Quality of a true ninja in the kitchen, holding its proud spot on the kitchen benchtop.

Perfect for Freppe

I got this to handle ice to make my own freppes and it's been a wonderful success. While a bit loud when I runs it's fast and I have a delicious drink in no time!

Good, but ear-shatteringly loud!

I love that I can put in my ingredients, push a single button and have this unit pulse & run in exactly the right combination to mix to perfection. It has big, strong blades that make some competing products look like toys. My only complaint is that this thing is so very loud, it hurts. I can't use it late at night, as it would literally wake the neighbours. I have to leave the room after I start a blending cycle. It's far louder than all but my noisiest power tools.

Great Machine

Absolutely love my Nutri Ninja Auto IQ blender - it crushes ice beautifully like it says and for smoothies, there are no lumps left from fruit and veges. its really quick and you just press the button and it works its magic, and its not in one continuous noisy hum. Machine is great size, not too big and fits on my bench nicely, there are three good size cups and the drink spout is good for drinking smoothies. Another great feature - the attachments all go in the dishwasher! Perfect, highly recommend.

Great Value for Money

I recently returned a competitor product and purchased this blender, and I am SO much happier with this product. It is really powerful, I've had absolutely no issues with it blending really frozen fruit, and I would recommend this 10/10 over any other product. The only downfall is it is super loud, however for the time that you are blending, I think the value of this product outweighs the sound!

Fabulous blender, ticks all the boxes

I have been using the Nutri-Blender Pro for a couple of months now after having a nutribullet. I was very interested to see how it compares. The Ninja has been great for dressings, smoothies, juices, and blitzing grains. Im a huge juicer and usually use a juice extractor but they are so annoying to clean, I tried blitzing fruit in the nutribullet before but it never breaks down the fruit enough and is too chunky so not enjoyable to drink. I was so impressed with the Ninja Blender pro, it was able to breakdown the fruit even ginger to make it smooth enough to enjoy. The different functions are great to make sure you get the right type of blend on what ever your making. The process of clicking in the attachment then being able to turn it on and off gives you alot more control over the blend rather then clicking it in and it switch on/off automatically like majority of other brand blenders. My absolute favourite part of this device is that ALL the parts, spout lids, cups and blades are dishwasher safe! All up I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a super easy and powerful blended.

8 years of constant use isn't bad.

I have had my Nutri Ninja Auto IQ blender for around 8 years. for the first 5 it was used probably 5 times/week and 2 -3 times/week for last 3 years. It has never missed a beat. I only use it for making breakfast fruit drinks (probably more I could do) but for that purpose it has been absolutely faultless. Unfortunately I now (it's just happened) have to jiggle the cup quite it bit to get the display to come on and stay on so will have to buy a new one but 8 years, pretty good. It's really the only way I eat fruit and I do believe it has helped me stay healthy and gives me a great start to the day.

My first Ninja

This is my first Ninja. Loves that it crushes frozen fruits into a pulp, no crushed iced at all. Very smooth 😊 Would like to try crushing dried herbs and nuts into paste eventually 😃

Never using a stick mixer for smoothies again!

I absolutely love this mixer! Got it just in time for summer & have been trying out all sorts of smoothies. Perfect for a quick on the go smoothie to take to work, just pop it in & let it do it's thing while you go about getting ready. I used to make smoothies with a stick mixer & it really struggled getting through too much frozen stuff, but it doesn't stand a chance with this!

AMAZING!!!

Absolutely love this product!!! I have bought and tried my fair share of blenders over the years with the hope that one would crush ice finely to not only make smoothies, frappes and milkshakes but this crushes ice to a point where you can make slushies, snow cones and sorbet (frozen fruit). Everything I have put in there has been consistently fantastic and can not fault it. My kids and I are definitely enjoying all the perks of this blender. I was so impressed by this ninja product that only a 5 star rating was warranted.

Good but it has cheaper equal competitors

I got this through a product trial and while I love how effective it is, I do find it is a bit overkill on some of the blend settings or not as effective. (Wish I'd held out another day for the food processor tbh). It crushes ice and frozen fruit and veg well but I find i stick to the pulse or start/stop settings as the blend and max blend are certainly overkill. It might be better if it actually stayed in one spot on my laminate bench as the feet slide around and I have to hold it in place. Power wise its not dissimilar to the NutriBullet which is about half the price.
