This product looks so plain, but what it does to your hair is amazing! I didn't have a reaction to any of the ingredients. Potentially thought the smell might put people off it does have quite a distinctive smell.

Nioxin scalp recovery system is very effective at reducing itchy scalp and dandruff after the first wash. The shampoo and conditioner have a nice scent with mint in it. After using my hair felt cleaner and light and I have no flaking in my scalp.

Effective scalp relief

I tried the Nioxin Scalp Recovery System sample kit (shampoo, conditioner, and serum) and didn’t notice much of a difference at first. But the real surprise came after I stopped using it. That’s when I realised it had actually been helping! My dandruff had reduced and was much more controlled while using the products, though not completely gone. Once I stopped, the flakes came back, so it’s clear that continued use is needed to maintain results. The formula is gentle on the scalp and has a subtle, fresh scent that I really liked. A solid four stars for a system that works but just be prepared to stick with it.

So effective from the very first use!!

I often suffer from an itchy scalp and dandruff and have tried many products in the past. The Nixon scalp recovery system has by far been the best that I have used. It gently cleanses my scalp and reduced dandruff and itchy from the very first use. Best of all…it smells great too!!

Saw an immediate difference

I saw an immediate difference in the flakey skin on my scalp. It smells really nice kind of minty, feels really nice in the hair, especially the conditioner it made my hair feel really soft.

Works a treat!

This was my first time trying anything from this brand so I didn’t know what to expect. The scent is very strong so if you’re not a fan of minty scents, you might want to skip this one. I personally found it to be a little overpowering and it also made my scalp feel slightly cool from the mint also. I will say that my hair felt lovely and soft alter using it and I did find that I had less dandruff than usual. If they changed the scent of this I would probably give it 5 stars.

The ONE thing that's worked!

Holy moly! Absolutely NOTHING has worked this fast on my hair like these products. The shampoo has cleansed my hair without the need for double washing (although I still do) and still leaves it soft and tangle free. Honestly have never had a shampoo work on cleansing my scalp and removing flakiness like this shampoo has. Using the scalp exfoliator together with this trio has finally given me relief and confidence in my hair. Absolutely love this product and will repurchase as long as it works! I've given it four stars as I do feel you need to keep using this product for it to work. It doesn't seem like a permanent fix but I'll keep using it and see how we go!
