It makes 16 tasty tacos in less than 30 minutes.To make the most of your taco kit, just add 1kg of lean beef mince, 2 onions, 4 handfuls of mixed lettuce, 2 avocados, sliced, and cherry tomatoes. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook the onions until soft. Sizzle and stir the meat over high heat for about 5 minutes. Add the taco spice mix and cup of water, then simmer until the sauce thickens.Make the tacos extra crunchy by preheating the oven to 180C conventional (160C fan-forced). Remove the taco shells from the plastic, keep the heatproof wedge inside the shells to retain their shape, fan the tacos slightly apart on a tray and heat for 5 minutes. To warm the soft tacos, open the pouch, discard the freshness sachet and microwave the soft tacos in the pouch on HIGH at 1100 watts for 15 seconds. Load the tacos with taco beef, pile on salad and top with saucy salsa. As a top tip, replace the beef with chicken mince and add lots of chopped coriander.
