Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Brazilian Coco Body Cream 250g

I recently tried Palmer’s Brazilian Coco Cream, and overall, it’s a great moisturiser with a few quirks. What I loved most was how easily it absorbed into my skin. It felt deeply moisturising without leaving any greasy residue. My skin felt noticeably softer and smoother after using it. The scent was a bit of a mixed experience. While it settled into a lovely subtle coconut fragrance, there was a brief moment after application where the scent turned quite medicinal, which wasn’t particularly pleasant. Thankfully, this faded quickly, leaving behind the soft coconut scent. As for the firming claims, I didn’t notice any visible changes, but to be honest, I don’t believe any moisturiser could achieve that for me. However, its hydrating effects were excellent, making it a worthwhile addition to my routine.

The Palmer's Brazillian Coco Whipped Bum, Bust and Body Cream is amazing. The formula is non-greasy and quick to dry, meaning I was able to get dressed right after my application. For testing purposes I focused daily application on my bum and thighs where I have visible cellulite. While the difference is not dramatic, I can definitely see an improvement and I imagine it will get better with continued use. The smell is a very subtle coconut, enough to make you feel like you are on an exotic vacation but not so much that it's overpowering. The texture is quite thick, but it spreads really easily so a little goes a long way. Bonus points: I used the cream on some sunburn and it was so moisturising that I didn't peel and my burn turned into a nice tan! I will definitely be purchasing this product again!

I really enjoyed how smooth the texture of this cream was, the whipped airy feeling made it easy to apply. The smell of the cocoa butter is nice and yummy and not overpowering and there is a slight shimmer to the cream which is noticeable in the sun. I really liked the fact it comes in a jar rather than a pump bottle as it makes the product a lot easier to access and apply. I felt this made my skin feel super hydrated, I do feel it was best applied at night after my shower before bed as this left my feeling super hydrated for the next day. I am though, a little disappointed as I didn’t experience the firming claims of this product. I would recommend and buy this product again but not for its firming qualities.

The scent of the product was strong and creamy with a distinct smell of coconut milk. The whipped cream was smooth and moisturizing and the application on the skin was simple and easy. The only thing I disliked was the glitter particles that it left on my skin which made it feel like the cream was more suitable for a day out rather than an overnight moisturizer.

The cream smells amazing and the texture helps to rub it in quickly while still feeling moisturised. It keeps my legs hydrated for 48hours and has a pretty shine/glitter that doesn't transfer to my clothes but makes my legs look airbrushed. I'm not sure it has any firming ability but will still buy it again as It is one of the best body creams I have used.

I loved using this body cream. I ended up using it on my mum tum and I feel as though it really helped with the appearance of my stretch marks and loose skin. The cream smells amazing and is a great texture. It’s rather thick and dries nicely.

I also really liked that it was in a tub - thick products like this struggle when in pump bottles, and the tub format makes this very easy to use. I don't love the scent - the coconut and cocoa butter is pleasant, but there's something artificial in the scent that makes it unpleasant and it lingers a bit. It's not bad enough to stop me using it, but bad enough to make me not want to repurchase. As for the firming qualities - I don't think I noticed any major differences. That could be a result of two weeks use. I'd happily use this up if I got it as a gift or if it came in a different scent.

The packaging is sturdy, ensuring no crushing or leaks, and it screws on securely, so you won’t have to worry about it spilling in your bathroom cabinet. The scent is absolutely delightful, perfectly capturing the essence of Palmer's Coco range. The texture is wonderfully soft and offers excellent hydration, particularly for areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. I found it especially useful before tanning, as it helps soften those spots and prevents dark patches. While it’s a fantastic cream overall, I have yet to see the firming benefits it claims to provide. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend it solely for that purpose.
