Panasonic 1TB HDD Smart PVR

Connects easily - physically and internet. High quality recordings with ample storage. The remote is cluttered, the buttons are too close and the design is dated - I guess PVRs are not in high demand with so much streaming so the models have remained I'd say the internet use the same as several years ago. The apps are also very limited and some are being discontinued however smart TVs already have them so who really cares? My purpose is to record shows mzinly on commercial stations while absent or while watching another channel I can then ffwd thru the ads whicg otherwise make a show unbearable. A lot of time is saved too

This is the 7th Panasonic VCR/DVD/Recorder/Recorder we have purchased. We have been extremely happy with all of them. Simple to operate and do everything we need them to do.

It does most things i wanted, but it lacks extending programs by more than 10 minutes

Bought this item to replace my Humax recorder as brand no longer available in Australia. This Panasonic recorder does exactly what I need it to do. Record TV and plays it back. As with any change in product. Read the instructions and away you go.

I bought this and it isn’t user friendly at all. Very complex for my elderly parents to operate and the operating manual is not clear at all. Would not recommend this at all considering the price paid I would have purchased a Fetch Mighty Instead.

I bought this a week ago and very pleased with my purchase.

Had to replace the old faithful recorder that I’d had for 17yrs so this new recorder had to live up to high expectations. Well it certainly has and more. I’m super impressed with how easy it is to use.

On my 2nd, great PVR. Easy to setup and use, responsive to remote.

Product is very good. A few things I don't like though. 1. The remote is smaller which means smaller buttons and rearranged. I liked the set out of my previous remote. 2. When recording the red light is almost invisible to see. On the older model the red lights were very visible which assured you that your program was being recorded. 3. Although I love the Series recording feature, if it's being shown on 2 different channels, it records both channels which is obviously not necessary. Overall, its easy to set up and use and happy with purchase.

Purchased to replace a 2009 panasonic dmr-xw350 that could not read Chanel 7,94,96 etc. with the resent upgrade to MPEG-4 HD broadcasting. Found it easy to connect and use.

I recently purchased this item. Works very well but had difficulty in getting streaming channels but eventually got it eorking

Purchased to replace my old Topfield, works great. Easy operation and remote supplied works for TV too.

The recorder arrived today, the interface is easy to navigate, storage capacity is adequate and recording is easy. It connects to the TV seamlessly and seems to be compatible with our TV.

I bought this unit to be able to use it to watch everything and do away with so many remote controls only to find that the unit no longer has the option of watching Netflix. I was not told this when I bought the unit. I also find the instructions difficult to follow for recording a programme every day from Monday to Friday

I had an old model of a Panasonic twin tuner pvr that finally died after 18 years, so bought this new one. It's got a lot of new and better features, so I expect I won't have any issues. So far, I'm very happy with it.

This product replaced my previous Panasonic Blu-Ray recorder which was over 10 years old. Basically it’s the same type of unit and the same fittings and I love this recorder because it is so easy to use and is so compatible and easy to connect and hose heaps of recording memory. It records two programs at once and I can be watching another channel on TV – awesome product.

I have just purchased this pvr ,the one I just threw out lasted me about 15 years and was also a Panasonic pvr I know how to use it and think 15 years is very good with no problems .

Just bought this recorder . It was very easy to set up. Very easy to use.

Bought 2 days ago, seemless connection with Samsung tv. Bought a new one after our old one died after12 years. More or less the same way to drive it, so glad of that as it is so simple to use. No tech degree, just plug and play.

Recently purchased the Panasonic PVR as a replacement for a Fetch mighty. My initial impression is that the Panasonic PVR is robust and reliable, unlike the Fetch. Recording is simple and straightforward My only gripe is the lack of easy access to Netflix and the Freeview catch up apps ie: iView,7plus,9now etc The storage on the Hard drive is very good and I like the remote control which provides simple access to the recordings

Easy to set up and use. Also takes up hardly any room which is great.

Have just bought this new recorder to replace my very old Panasonic dvd/recorder. It seems very easy to use and records beautifully.

This Panasonic model replaces one I have had for over 20 years. Needless to say, the old tuner could not get all the latest HD channels so it was time for a change.

Just set up was easy to follow instructions very happy

I bought this to replace an older version. Great to see the excellent User Interface in the Recording Menu is still nice and simple to use. A bonus is the Viera compatibility with my non- Panasonic other components. Very easy set up and excellent video quality.

I bought this at the end of May 2026 and it’s exactly what I wanted. As an older person (80+ years of age) & not confident with technology, it has been a joy to set up and to use. I have used it every day to record TV programs and then delete once watched. Great to have an operating instruction booklet with the recorder. It was fully compatible with my older model TEAC TV. It’s very light weight and has a slim profile. I’d recommend it highly.

Bought this recorder to replace cancelled foxtel box. It was very easy to set up and works just as well as the foxtel box for recording & playback but without the big ongoing monthly fee.

I purchased this to replace my decade old one. I have found this one just as easy to set up and use as my old one, giving a great picture. The remote control is very easy to navigate. Thank you Panasonic for making life easy. Cheers Rob.
