I bought this microwave to replace an older Panasonic model, so this is my second microwave from Panasonic. With 4 young adults in the house, it is used for reheating, seemingly endless bags of popcorn and a myriad of other things, so has high usage. The black outer is easy to clean and looks cleaner than the previous brushed aluminium of my previous one, and it is easy to wipe up after use. The buttons on this one appear a little more intuitive and I like the pre set function such as melt and soften (lots of baking in this household) and a reheat bread. I don’t “cook” a lot in it, so find the capacity more than adequate.

I bought this because i have been very happy with my 12 year old model. It’s a clean design with simple controls. The reheat functions are useful but in the main it’s a good, daily use microwave.

I bought this microwave 4 days ago because our previous one suddenly stopped heating. I checked the star ratings and it was one of the top rated brands. Even though there were cheaper brands I preferred reliability over what’s trending at he time. The heating is great - better than our old one which had higher capacity. It came with heaps of recipes suggestions. The only thing that I need to get used to is there’s no number pad but rather 1 or 10min / sec options, but not a big issue. I’m happy with the purchase.
