Panasonic D10 Portable DAB+ Radio

Portable radios with a stereo aux output are a rare find, so this was a pleasant surprise. I needed a tuner to feed audio into a JBL speaker at the drive-in cinema and it does the job perfectly. FM reception is solid, but the DAB+ digital tuner is the real standout, making station selection a breeze. The quality of the speaker is nothing to write home about, but it's what you would expect at the sub $200 price point.

The Panasonic DAB/Fm Radio has a good clear sound without distortion

I bought this for my mum a few years ago now and she uses it every day and so I decided to buy myself one as well.

I bought this a few weeks ago and have loved it so far. The display is clear and easy to read. I like the fact that it has knobs, makes changing channels much easier than buttons. Also, there is an option to use batteries with it, which is a nice touch. Overall, very happy with this radio!

unable to pick up digital radio stations or fm stations

The Panasonic radio is fantastic on AM or on DAB the reception here at West Lakes 5021 is perfect, we are very happy with this product.

Good reception but tone not as good as the Teac. Picks up all the stations

This radio has some very good features: - 240V connector directly on radio - no power pack in power line. - Very easy to setup the presets. - can be turned up loud, without distortion - for use in my workshop. - very solid construction - i noticed that It was quite heavy when unpacking it. - very good display which shows the artist and music title, plus time and date. - because it is a true digital radio the time and date don't have to be set - it just appears. - the setup was very simple, and very little to do. Highly recommended - don't waste your time looking elsewhere.

The Panasonic d10 dab+ radio is easy to use, is portable and has a very good sound.

A nice 10 preset stations but unable to separate Digital and FM station tuning. FM does not find station in autotune. You need to find FM stations manually! The Display does not show if the channel is DAB or FM. Display options is not saved & when you use preset it reverts back to default display. Instruction Manual do not match the Display. Unable to find out how to use the Alarm!

The Panasonic D10 Radio was given to me recently as a lovely surprise gift, from a dear friend. It’s by far the best radio I have ever owned. The friend that gave it to me owned one themself, and I had admired it many times. It’s a pleasure to use. Panasonic have always made quality products, well designed and faultless in operation. It has a screen (much like a TV) that let’s you know what radio channel you are on and perfectly auto tunes it with the press of a button. The screen uses large easy to read lettering, so you know what channel you are on. The range of channels it picks up is amazing, so whether listening to music, talk back shows, interesting interviews, news etc....the selection is endless. Also it picks up many SBS channels, great for people for whom English is their second language. The look of the radio is very classy. Definitely great value. One of my favourite shows is All In The Mind. I learn a lot from it. Happy listening.

Liked the function of the DAB+, which has all the channels we used to use on the AM radio.

Great portable FM/DAB Radio. Lightweight and ideal to carry around the house.

Unfortunately there’s no Bluetooth and no AM radio. If you’re lucky enough to have your AM station on DAB, than great.

The Panasonic RF-D10 makes very good use of summing the audio stereo to a single speaker. The headphone output (Stereo, 3.5 mm jack - 16 Ω) is a stereo output and can be used to connect to external audio devices with a cable. With the batteries installed you can plug into some car stereo systems, a credit to it's portability. At 16 Ω most headphones used with mobile phones and laptops work but also the impedance is a good choice and would not overload most external devices. 1.3 kg with batteries, it is easy to carry for outdoors, picnics, beach and small enough to use a large re-sealable plastic bag to cover it in order to keep sand, dirt and water out. Surprisingly without the aerial fully extended it will pick up most channels for me. Where this radio is particularly useful is in listening to 50's & 60's music that used a single speaker. I was listening to the radio one day, I heard a song from a very famous band with a name that starts with B and I was impressed by the sound, it just leapt out of the radio. I discovered that the song was originally recorded for mono play so it was perfectly matched to the vintage car speaker type mono sound from the 10 cm (4 Ω) speaker installed. Excellent FM and DAB/DAB+ BAND III choices. I like the built-in alarm and the inclusion of a buzzer as well as radio. With batteries you'll never miss an alarm in power failure. I really can't say anything bad about this radio, it is compact easy to carry round and has all the necessary battery and connections required. Settings are easily found with the LCD display. I didn't expect much from this radio as I just wanted it for the garage to hear the news, but now that I have used it for some years. I'm very happy with it for the full range of FM and DAB/DAB+ BAND III radio stations, music quality and functions.

I bought this digital radio to play as I worked from home. It has certainly lifted my spirits listening to music in the background while I work. This makes staying home during this time difficult time a little bit easier. Thank you JB HiFi

Just purchased this. Great sound quailty form a smallist radio, and the reception is much bettre than my previous DAB radio. Hightly recommended
