Remove completely the foil security seal on the refill. - Insert the refill into the device and push it in gently until it clicks. This locks the refill inside the device. - Plug the device into an electrical socket. The light on the device will turn on, indicating that it is working for the next 12 hours. After 12 hours the device will automatically turn off. Use it only in the vertical position. - If you wish to turn it off before 12 hours, press the button in the middle. Follow the above instruction if you wish to turn it on again. - To change the refill: Remove device from the socket. Turn the ring on the front of the device clockwise. This will eject the empty refill. Put in a new refill by following the above instruction. - Unplug the device when not used. Use only with genuine Mortein peaceful nights refills.

Do not allow curtains or other flammable objects to contact the unit while it is in use. Handle electric device with dry hands only. When in use, do not touch with metal objects. Keep out of reach of children. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not use or play with this device. Ensure device is not positioned close to children's cots and beds. Not intended for use by infirm persons without supervision. It should not be used in dining areas, food handling areas or food storage areas. Toxic to fish. Remove or cover fish tanks before use.

Handy and useful

The mortein peaceful night plug in refill would have been great if I had the plug to insert the refill into. However, I purchased a plug, at a cost and was able to trial. It was effective, however out of budget for most people.

Plug in and be mozzie free

An odourless, effective mozzie killer. Made my nights much more peaceful! I think I'll love it during the summer as I hate the mozzies in my ears.

Not effective, doesn't work

This wasn't very effective, it didn't make any difference whether this was turned on or not which is unfortunate because I expected great results. Unfortunately this is not a product I'd recommend

Better nights sleep guaranteed

There is nothing worse than insects tormenting you when you're trying to sleep. So far this has worked really well to keep the insects at bay. Once it was plugged in, I let it do it's thing and have been surprised by how well it works

Automatic switch off for peace of mind

This is a super cool plug in. Works like other plug ins from mortein but the fact that it automatically switches off after 12 hours is such a peace of mind so highly convenient and thus great value too! The refill is compact and neatly fits, hiding away from plain view, which makes the design awesome

This product keeps flies at bay.

We get flies bad at our back door, and they always swarm in as we go in and out the door. So I popped this plug in right there, by our back door and I must say I am impressed with how it has kept the flies at bay. I cannot wait to use this product in Summer when the flies are at their worst.
