Philips 1000 Series Stand Garment Steamer w/Board (Nougat)

Easy set up and easy to use. Does a great job. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product.

This was a good item to trial, however it wasn’t as great as I expected. It is good on linen, cotton but not great on pleated clothes, thick PPE clothing and it’s challenging for store if you don’t have the room. There is no hook or storage for the hand mit so I just tucked it behind as per picture. The water level does last a good amount of time, I refilled it after 4 shirts. It is gentle on silk and doesn’t over spill water in the hand nozzle which some can do or even ordinary iron does. I did enjoy using this but which it was able to be easily folded away without pulling apart.

This product is amazing to use! It is super light and easy to carry around the place. Packs down nice and compact as well when not in use. For someone that needs to look professional in their outfits each day, this product is so easy to use. Turn it on, find your shirt, steam your shirt and you’re ready to go in 2 minutes. Definitely recommend this product

I am an AV technician in five star hotels, and the physical nature of the job as well as the high standard of dress code requires me to regularly remove wrinkles from my uniform. This steamer works really well and having the built-in coat stand is very convenient. It does take up quite a lot of space which is not ideal but I will be continuing to use it as it works really well.

As someone who doesn’t like ironing, this was easy and a dream to use. No more battling with the cumbersome ironing board and iron. Compact enough to tuck away in a closet when not in use. Quick to steam even thicker fabrics with deep creases.

This steamer makes removing creases from clothing so easy. It is easy to use, especially for people like us who aren’t good at ironing and are often in a rush. My partner often gets ready at the last minute and doesn’t leave enough time to iron his shirt so the steamer has made this so much easier- it heats up so quickly and does a better job than ironing at getting out the creases. The steamer is simple to assemble and set up. We are thrilled with it and would highly recommend it. The only negative I would mention is that the glove is too small, my partner doesn’t have the largest hands but he couldn’t fit the glove on at all.

The steamer worked pretty well, but I think having a choice between an iron and steamer might go with an iron, as it's a bit harder to work with thicker materials trying to get into all the angles. Also the size is pretty big, but it's good that its adjustable in height but the base feels less sturdy and the power lead is a bit short. Recommendation would to go with an iron rather than a steamer.

This product is very easy to use and very easy to put together. It got the creases out very quickly. It's also great to use for lots of different kinds of garments. I love this garment steamer!

This garment steamer is such a great replacement and alternative to pulling out the iron and ironing board every day. It was very easy to assemble, with clear instructions too. I like that I am able to adjust the height of it for daily use, but also so it can pack away neatly. It heats up really quickly, and having the big water reservoir at the bottom means I don't have to refill as often as I would with a hand steamer. The style of the steamer also makes it easy to steam big coats and blazers, and I like that I can hang my garments on a coat hanger up top too. The "ironing board" attachment also means I don't have to hang my items up against a door for a flat surface. I appreciate the inclusion of a heat-safe glove too. I have been previously burnt using a stand-alone garment steamer, but with the glove, it makes it so much easier to handle clothes.

After using this steamer for a week, I’m actually surprised how much I liked it. I wasn’t sure if it would replace my iron, but honestly, I haven’t touched the ironing board since. It’s so easy to use, I just hang my clothes up and steam them right there. No setting up, no hassle. It heats up pretty quickly, and it’s been great for everyday stuff like shirts and dresses. The built-in hanger is a nice touch, and it doesn’t take up much space at all, perfect for small apartments like mine. Overall, it’s made my evenings easier. I wouldn’t say it’s for heavy-duty ironing, but for quick de-wrinkling, it does the job really well. Definitely something I’d keep using.

Overall it is a well designed and easy to use product, i normally use a little hand held one and this one is leaps and bounds better, the only downside was it made the clothes more wet then the smaller one, but that could of been me, I would definitely recommend this one, i was able to steam a skirt in about 10 minutes and a dress in 15

It had to be assembled from the box, but it was easy to do. The size is quite big, and it takes quite a lot of space. It can only be used for shirts, so I still have to use irons for pants and others. It doesn't completely diminish wrinkles on shirts as much as using an iron. It definitely takes less time, but it doesn't look perfect wrinkle free shirts. Also, it’s hard to do on sleeves. I don't think I will use it.

The product is great! So easy to store and set up! It’s taking time getting used to using a steamer instead of an iron. Comes with a heat glove, highly recommend using that.

This steamer is very easy to use. Its very light and portable, I can move it around my house very easily. Straightforward instructions, it doesn't take long to heat up. I was able to steam my business shirt very quickly, no need to do it the night before.

I have been shopping around for a standing steam iron that is small house friendly. This definitely ticked all the boxes , very lightweight and easy to use. Setting up was easy even without reading instructions it’s pretty straight forward. Using this product was easy and heated up quite quickly. I highly recommend this if you’re in the market to buy a standing steam iron.

A fantastic clothing steamer! The unit itself is very lightweight, was very easy to assemble and the capacity of the water tank ensures you don’t run out of steam quickly. It heats up very quickly and the inbuilt hanger with cloth backing makes the steaming process seamless. Quite honestly it is perfection!!!

This product is amazing, so quick and easy to use. My super wrinkly top was de-wrinkled in minutes. The stand is adjustable, it has a really quick heat up time and was able to use it within two minutes. It stores away easily and is compact and easy to put together again when needed. Absolutely love this product and will be using again and again for all my wrinkly shirts! Highly recommend!

I have never used a full sized steamer before and now I'm a total convert. The frame stands about 5 feet tall at full extension. It is sturdy, quick to put together/adjust and is a great size for my clothes as well as my husband's 3XL. I love that I don't have to bend over and adjust the clothes perfectly to get them wrinkle free - a few passes of the steamer and they're done. I'd previously only used hand held versions and it's always a pain trying to find somewhere to hang the garment to steam it. I love this product and it will be my go to from now on

I loved this product, it is so quick and easy to use. The steamer works almost instantly after plugging in and is so much faster than my current iron. It smoothed out my clothes perfectly including shirts and dresses. The only thing I disliked about this that doesn't happen with my iron is that if the steamer gets too close to the clothing it leaves wet patches. As I learn how to use it better I think this won't be a problem. One thing I wish this product had was a pack up carry bag so that I could take this to our holiday house.

The product is easy to use, there is a learning curve to it. I would use it for items that I would struggle ironing like suit jackets and dresses. For shirts, pants and skirts I would stick to a steam iron. The garment steamer takes about the same time as my steam iron to heat up but takes considerably more time to remove creases. While it seems to work ok for work shirts it did a poor job on linen shirts. Did a good enough job for my wife's dresses. Would I have bought it, no, a portable garment steamer might do a similar job for a fraction of the space.

Great product, easy to assemble and use. Not super bulky and doesn’t take up much room in the laundry space. Would definitely recommend this to everyone. A lot easier than getting out an iron every day.
