Philips 5000 Series Handheld Garment Steamer (Blue)

Average at best. ‘Upgraded’ from a cheap Kambrook steamer but regret it. Not very powerful and doesn’t stand upright on its own like pictured so you need to lay it down to heat up and when not holding. I don’t have counter space where I use it so never bother with it. Complete waste of money.

I love the steamer, the colour and easy to use, however the ads. Need to change and show more properly the item inside the box, Only the blue one come with the extra water bottle and iron mat, but my first order is red steamer and come with nothing, so turn on I have to order 2nd, time, and the colour is not I really want it. I want red one with extra item. Bit disappointed when the item arrived.

It’s so easy to use, handheld and light. I wish it had a little bit more space in the water tank but it still does a shirt/pants in one go. We’ve travelled with it and yes I would recommend this product.

This Philips Garment Steamer is great and works really well, with fast and effective wrinkle removal. It heats up super fast and helps smooth out those tough wrinkles that takes so long with regular ironing. It’s fast, gentle, and perfect for everyday use.

This is the first time I’ve used a steamer & was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to use. The instruction manual was available via QR code which is great! I don’t have to worry about my Toddler ripping up the book. Instructions were super easy to follow. The end result was great ! Very satisfying to use. Made me want to steam all my clothes. The size is very portable. Will be perfect travel size to take with us interstate for a wedding next year. Highly recommend.

A lovely and simple product. Does the job beautifully on all sorts of fabrics without any worry of burning. It is a must have for every home as it makes ironing so much easier. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely loved this product! As someone who is always time poor, this product is a game changer! So user-friendly and quick to heat up. I absolutely love this product it has made my ironing pile disappear, this product is such a breeze to use and takes minimal time the ironing/steaming feels nearly non existent. I found it worked with all types of materials and never left any marks like your traditional irons do. I even tested it on my best friends wedding dress before her big day and it looked nearly identical, to the dresses which had been done by professionals! I'm thrilled by this product and would recommend this to anyone who hates ironing!

The title really explains the above. I don't own an iron and have always loathed the job. Having the opportunity to test this out was amazing. It made hubby's shirt wrinkle free. The colour gave me the dopamine hit that made it into a fun task. The fact it doesn't take up much space and warms up with in 30 secs is perfect for me who always runs out of time. This would also be perfect to take camping due to its size. I think I have now become a steamer convert to the point I also steamed our bed sheets. Plus the glove (which reminds me of an oven glove) is a perfect pritectant for a klutz like me.

This steamer is a great household item. It heats up in 35 seconds or less, a great thing to have on hand when you have a last minute item that has creases but you don’t want to get the ironing board out! I have used it on all sorts of fabrics and it simply steams the creases away with ease! The steamer itself is a good weight, not too heavy but also not too light. I love the pink colour mixed with the navy blue, it’s stylish! I also love that it comes with a mat to place the steamer on in between clothes, and a little mitt to protect your hands! It also comes with two different sized water containers which are super easy to fill up, and get on and off the steamer itself. It comes with a great visual manual but also has a digital one available. Overall I highly recommend this for anyone. From a busy household, to someone on the go, to someone who doesn’t iron much clothing, it’s a great addition to your home!

I've been using the Philip Steamer for a while, and overall, it's very effective! It works like a charm, delivering impressive results quickly – just like the videoI've taken, it can tackle a spot in about 30 seconds. However, it loses a star because it's on the heavy side, so my arm gets tired after extended use. Otherwise, it's a solid performer if you're looking for powerful steam cleaning!

We loved using the steamer, it’s great that it’s handheld and has two options for the water tank - so can be small and agile if you’re travelling. The packaging wrap it comes with to protect it is a little bulky and clumsy.

Being a family of 5 there is always something that needs and iron and I was excited to try this. I used it on my work scrubs, business attire, kids formal uniforms as well as bed sheets and towels and everything looked beautiful and crisp without any lines

This product has worked really well as a new item in my crease free arsenal. This has become really easy to use and get setup. The one issue with this is trying to maneuver it around due to the short cable and also no holder for the product and no board but if you have a iron board this will work a treat.

I am pretty impressed with how powerful this steamer is. I have used a Kmart one for over a year and I truly missed my old steamer. The eco function is pretty powerful too. I love the fact that it’s case comes in an ‘oven mit’ to protect your hands

Does what it needs to do! Also can’t fault the pink colour, super cute. It works well and removes wrinkles from my clothing. Heats up super quick and easy to use. I like the size so that I can bring it anywhere

My last steamer was pretty good, but I think this one has been designed exceptionally well. It really does only take 35 seconds to heat up and it is so easy to pull out and get going. I used it to catch up on my family’s ironing after a trip and found it very easy to use and also very versatile. I love that it comes with a glove and an ironing mat which doubles as a storage case. I don’t think it is quite as defective as an iron, but it does a fantastic job for such a small and portable appliance and I will absolutely be taking it with me on my next trip and keeping it in a handy place for anything that needs a last minute touch up. I have even used it to touch up a tablecloth on my clothes line to save fiddling with it on an ironing board. There was clearly a lot of thought put into its design because it even has a small reservoir in the bottom of the clip on tank that allows you to use every last drop even when you are steaming on a horizontal surface.

The steamer is super easy to use on the go and perfect for the quick jobs. It heats up quickly and found it works best when lying the item flat down and using like an iron. It's great for 1-2 items but then you have to refill the water tank after that. Takes a few passes on super crinkled linen but works fast on light weight fabrics.

I was impressed with how compact this steamer is and so easy to use. It's a perfect ironing solution for apartment living. It has worked well on all the fabrics i have tried it with - cotton, polyester, linen! Would definitely recommend.

Love this product ! I do a lot of ironing and it was so much quicker and more effective than a regular iron! I especially loved it on my delicate items. The only negative it is slightly heavy so would let be ideal for the elderly . The mitt for holding the garments is also a nice extra !Would recommend!

I have used this steamer on several items of clothing, one of which my day to day work uniform. I'm pleased to say it has made ironing so much easier, I fix any bad collars and questionable wrinkles in seconds. Great for on the go or when your in the rush. I recommend this product to anyone.

Phillips Garment Steamer STH5020 is a nice upgrade to my previous Phillips steam iron. It literally took me less than 5 minutes to steam iron my 5 mtr long saree and blouse for my Diwali party and I was amazed by the outcome. After that I did try the product in different type of clothes and got creases free result at the end in very less time.

The Phillips garment steamer works well and reliably and quickly eliminates wrinkles from my clothes, without any stains or burns. Much better than an iron for dresses and silky shirts. My only criticism is that the pink colour looks very artificial and fake, I prefer the dark blue.

This steamer does an excellent job! It heats up very quickly and does a great job of removing wrinkles from clothes. The design is very cool, I love the colours and overall style of the product. The mat is fantastic, I love that you can use it to protect your door/furniture or use it as a pad on a bed or table to make steaming extremely easy. The carry bag becomes a glove which is great for holding shirt sleeves or the bottom of a garment without worrying about getting burnt. I wish that you could sit the product up on its end because it takes a while to cool down, and I worry about burning furniture or the mat with too much direct heat. I’m not sure how often I would use this rather than an iron, but it will be fantastic for formal wear and suits. As far as steamers go though this is the best one I have used, it’s fairly quick to use as some can take multiple runs over the fabric to get a good result. Very happy overall!

Love love love this steamer. I had a cheaper one for years which I thought was great... until I used this one and realised how much of a difference it made. It requires a lot less going over the same section to get it smooth. Also I love the fun pink colour of the cable and accessories.its also not too heavy with either of the water containers attached. Highly recommend getting this product over its cheaper alternative.
