Philips Airfryer 4000 Series Stacked Dual Basket 10L Airfryer

Saves on bench space and is a lot easier to wash than the older basket style models like the xxl 9000 series. However it does seem to cook slower than the basket style model even though it has more power.

Only four months in the front of one basket has all cracked!

Glass draws crack after the first few months, wouldn't recommend

Was super excited to try this air fryer but boy, what a let down. Took ages to cook, didn’t crisp very well and the front of each basket cracked after only a few uses. Returned and got a refund.

Mine was about 6 months old and the fronts on both draws cracked. As this is my first air fryer I'm not best to talk about the performance because I can't compare it to others. I've replaced it with the same model for now hoping it was just a bad batch. Also because it works well in the space that I have on the bench. But if it happens again hopefully Philips has a new or better model to change to. We'll see!

Second review for this. After the fronts on both baskets cracked after 3 months, we returned it to JB HiFi and they gave us a replacement. 3 months later, the front on one of the baskets has cracked again. Will be returning this for a refund and buying a different brand. I recommend not buying this product.

I have found this Air Fryer to be very versatile and obviously a great space saver. I have had 2 Philips XXL air fryers for about 5 years and loved using them and trying different recipes in them. I purchased this dual Air Fryer and have not looked back. Also, they are very easy to clean. My sister purchased a Dual Air Fryer of a different brand, and although she likes it, she can see that the Philips is a better machine.

Previously owned two Philips XXL air fryers and couldn't be happier with them. Use them daily for 5+ years and always promoted buying one to our friends. We liked it so much we decided to go for a dual draw to make preparing larger meals easier, however this turned into a disaster. After just two days of using the Philips 4000 Series NA462/70, I'm regretting the $299 spent. The cooking is taking much longer, and the food doesn't crisp in the same way. The point was to not use the oven, yet cooking times now match. The XXL (Single version) could cook veggies in 8 minutes... the dual stacker still hasn't cooked them after 13mins at 200 degrees. Even with a pre-heated basket. Two days and wish I could get a refund and buy a new XXL that actually performs to expectations. The unit does look good and seems well made, it just doesn’t perform. I would encourage those to not buy the dual stacker, it's a massive disappointment from my usual Philips XXL experience.

Absolutely love my airfryer 4000! Best purchase ever for our family of four. Love how it saves bench space and can cook two different things at once. Perfect for quick teenagers afternoon tea, quick roast vegetables, quick quiche etc.

We went from a 5.7 l capacity unit to this stacked unit which has a smaller footprint and almost double the capacity. It is an absolute Game changer.. we are in the process of still fine tuning cooking time and temperatures, as there is a little bit of inconsistency between brands.

Bought this just under 3 months ago. It worked very well up until last night. The plastic fronts on both baskets have cracked inexplicably. We are always very careful to let it cool down completely before washing. Only handwash with warm soapy water - no dishwasher. It lives on the benchtop and has never been dropped. Somewhere between switching it on last night to cook some vegetables, and before it had finished, we noticed both basket fronts have cracked diagonally. It is a shame because it has been great, but I could not recommend it now. Phillips support offered no suggestion on how this happened. Will be sending it back to JB-HiFi for a refund.

Sadly, I am very unimpressed with it so far. Currently I also have the Philips XL Air fryer but liked the idea of having two separate baskets for air frying different foods. The main problem is that it takes so much longer to use than the XL model, for instance I loaded up the XL and the dual basket with the same amount of food (bag of frozen roast potatoes). The XL will have them cooked all the way through and crispy on the outside in 15mins, the dual takes at least 25-30 mins to achieve the same results. I thought it may be due to the size difference in the baskets but even with other frozen items it takes double the time to achieve the same results. I had researched online and the reviews did say it takes longer than single basket so I was expecting some differences but double the time is a joke, I may as well cook it in the oven at this rate. I have followed the instructions so don’t know what’s going on, maybe it needs some burn in time 😉. I am sure that once I get use to the longer imes everything will be fine.

Great product. My new air fryer gives me the ease of cooking different portions of my meals at the same time. So when my boneless chicken tenders are cooked, I have the portion of veggies cooked, ready and waiting. Another good thing is that i can see the progress of cooking through the front slide tray windows. A must have if you want to save time. Plus it comes with Philips confidence and warranty.

I so wanted this to be amazing but it didn’t live up to expectations. We previously had the XXL and it was amazing and would have replaced like for like but sadly it has been discontinued. I wanted the double drawer to be able to separate cooking of raw meat at the same time as veg etc. while it achieves that it take 2-3times as long, cooks unevenly causing you to have to rotate the food more often in the basket to get an even cook. I think the problem comes with the element being at the back and not circulating the heat and air evenly or in a circular motion throughout the basket. The basket insert also has finger holes to make it easier to get it out for cleaning but when pouring food into the basket such as chips for small items they fall straight through the holes and under the basket insert. I will usually just live with imperfections like this but expect more from Phillips and will look to get a new airfryer with an element at the top.

Went from Philips HD9651 to this as I liked the form factor but this one is so much slower and the output is not as good. I have switched back to the HD9651 as it's actually quicker and better doing two batches back to back than using 2 trays in this thing.

So quick, easy to use, clean and cooks the food to perfection. Love that you can get both food basket to finish at the same time with different foods in them. It's a lot quieter than the old one. The home id app is great as well, you're able to select recipes specific to the air fryer, until you get use to it, then look at other recipes. Great product, highly recommend it.

The Philips 4000 series stacked dual basket air fryer is a great compact size. The dual baskets and ability to sync cooking times is handy for cooking 2 dishes at the same time. I found the shake reminder was a really great feature. My kids loved the light feature on the baskets and being able to see what’s cooking.

This product works really well and is perfect for families. The different cooking modes in both baskets makes it easy to cook different foods at different times and heat settings. Slim line design means it isn’t too big for the bench top. Easy to use touch pad and the light in each draw is a great design also.

The Philips 4000 Series Stacked Dual Basket Air fryer, is fantastic. The stacked dual basket is an absolute game changer. It doesn’t take up much counter space and gives you the ability to cook 2 things at once. It cooked evenly and quickly. I have cooked numerous dishes and they all came out perfectly. There is a functionality that allows both draws to finish cooking at the same time, so that the food comes out hot. There is also a reminder option if you need to turn or shake the meal, which was helpful. The preset options are limited, but enough. I loved the light inside and the glass draw. You can see your food cooking instead of having to open it the whole time. Both draws were easy to clean. The insert at the bottom comes out easily and was easy to clean. The app itself was disappointing. The recipes are extravagant and require a lot of ingredients. I use an airfryer for convenience, ease and health. I love this air fryer. I would highly recommend it.

This was my first time trying an air fryer. I love the convenience of having two baskets, especially because I’m vegetarian and my partner and kid are not. It gives me the option to cook two meals at the same time. For example, I did chicken and veg in one basket, and tofu and veg in the other all while cooking some rice on the stove. That way, all three dishes are ready at the same time, and we could dine together. I also like that I can see into the basket to check if my food is done. It’s great in terms of space, as it’s stacked and doesn’t take up too much counter space. The only thing I found annoying is that, even though I followed the recipes from the app and the recommended cooking times, I sometimes had to cook things longer. The food looked pale and I felt like it needed more time to reach that golden, fried color. Overall, I think this appliance works best with frozen foods like fries, nuggets, fish fingers, etc.

This Philips Airfryer is amazing. You can cook two meals at the same time with the two 5L baskets. The baskets have good capacity for cooking and are easy to clean. The Airfryer also doesn’t take up much room on the kitchen benchtop. The Airfryer can be used to cook different recipes using the Philips HomeID app. You can cook family sized meals easily. It has easy to use buttons to follow to program the Airfryer. I found nuggets and chips turned out crispy. You can also watch your meals being cooked through the easy to view window. The Airfryer is also not very noisy when in operation which is great. The Airfryer also beeps as a time to shake reminder for better cooking results. Overall this is the best Airfryer I have used and will highly recommend others.

This airfyrer was received in exchange for my opinion. I love the design of this airfryer. Its tall and sleek making the most of the space that gets wasted in kitchens. It has a clever shake reminder that you can set for perfect chips and the baskets have a light so you check on your food without interruption to the cooking process. The airfryer cooked my food very well, very happy. Using the airfyrer is easy as instructions are on the app. I love recipes in the App and can easily favourite them and types notes too. There a fault i didn't like- when you first get the product you need to remove baskets entirely as there is cardboard hiding underneath each basket, needs a informative label to let you its there.

Oh my goodness! This air fryer is an absolute game changer! We went from having a small, single air fryer to this dual one and it has leveled up our cooking! I love that you can cook two different things at once, setting the appliance to suit each. It looks wonderful too and is so easy to use!

With step-by-step video instructions, and cooked in the same airfryer as mine, each recipe I’ve tried has turned out exactly like the image making me feel like a pro! I personally recommend the ham & cheese pinwheels. The baskets are large and enable me to cook a main in one and a side in the other. The pre-set cooking modes cook each dish to perfection, both baskets have a light & window to keep watch, its sync button ensures both baskets are ready at the same time and being stacked makes the unit compact. It’s loud with two fans on at once though. Having had perfect results with each use, and appreciating the app, I highly recommend this airfryer
