Philips Baristina Espresso Machine (Silhouette Black)

Wow! For years I’ve had a large bulky mainstream at home coffee machine and this little machine has changed my life! Well, my morning routine at least! It has cut my coffee making time down to as little as 3 minutes. All I do is watch it do its magic! It’s so compact, easy to use and the coffee it produces is the best I’ve ever had, every time!

This is a great little machine for the coffee drinker on the go. Slightly more sophisticated than a pod machine but just as easy to use, this cracking little machine allows you to choose your own coffee beans and grinds them into a delicious cup of coffee. With two settings you can choose a long black or espresso, there is also an option to decide how strong you would like your coffee. Compared to other machines this little friend is reasonably quiet and gets the job done. There no huge frills but you do get a pretty decent cup of coffee quickly. This little machine is great for home. But would also suit offices, hairdressers or other places that want to offer something more than a pod or instant coffee.

I found my Philips baristina very easy to use. I'm that person who loves her coffee at the click of a button and this machine does just that. You put the coffee beans and it does everything for you. It's not very noisy as well which I love. Also when the coffee is being dispensed, it's very gentle and there is no spillage. The design of the machine is really stylish and compact, and very easy to clean as well.

I am really happy with my Baristina machine! I love how compact and seamless it is. It’s super easy to use and a nice step up from a pod machine but still easy to use and really fast from bean to cup! Cleaning and maintenance is easy and set up was simple. My only fault is the machine losers grip on my bench when inserting the portafilter. Would highly recommend as an entry level coffee machine for someone who love simplicity and efficiency.

Who knew having freshly grinded coffee beans every morning could be so quick and easy? The Phillips Baristina Espresso Machine is as easy to use as a pod machine, giving you a wonderful perfectly brewed coffee with ease. With the push of a button the beans are grinded, pressed and espressed through the machine in the space of minute. I love that the two set sizes are adjustable to preference and that you can up the strength if you wish as well. Cleaning takes 30 seconds with the portafilter emptied easily with one hand, then you're ready to go for the next coffee. Having always wanted a proper coffee machine but never wanted the hassle of dealing with the all the fiddly bits or having a big industrial looking machine on my bench, Phillips has come up with the perfect answer for me with this machine. It's compact and stylish, my biggest complaint is that the electrical cord is black, when my kitchen and the machine is white.

We love this espresso machine! Talk about making it sooooo easy to make a coffee requiring no effort to pack the coffee. You only need to pour in the coffee beans at the top, it does the grinding for you and then packs it and out pours a delish espresso with the option to make it short or long and selecting to make it stronger. One thing I noticed is that it doesn’t have little grip pads underneath so kept sliding around so that’s why we had to put a tea towel underneath it. Would highly recommend this for someone who wants to make coffee on the go with the benefit of freshly ground coffee.

I would class myself as a coffee enthusiast and have used the coffee machine multiple times daily for two weeks. The machine has a built in grinder and a fabulous milk frother. Set up was quick and easy. Use is straightforward (3 buttons) consistently producing a nice hot coffee. Its a great size, not utilising much bench space. Just love the ease of use, consistency and speed.

From the moment I opened the box, I was impressed by recyclable, eco friendly packaging- it immediately gave a sense of thoughtful design. Set up was refreshingly simple. The instructions are conveniently placed on the bean holder making them easy to follow and refer back to. I followed the recommended steps to prepare the machine before use and everything worked smoothly from the start. Design wise this machine is a stand out. Its sleek finish and modern cloud white colour blend beautifully into the kitchen, adding a clean and stylish touch. What truly sets it apart is the ease of use. With a single touch the machine handles everything from grinding the beans to tamping and extracting the espresso at the perfect temperature. It makes creating a cafe style quality coffee feel effortless and quick. Perfect for daily use. Maintenance is so simple with a push button cleaning function on the portafilter. Making a great coffee into a simple daily pleasure without compromising on quality.

I was sceptical about this initially but when I unboxed it wow was I amazed! Most coffee machines that use beans are really complex and time consuming to use but this one literally takes seconds from turning the machine on to having a cup of coffee. Super easy to clean too. This will be staying on my kitchen counter permanently. Sleek and pretty machine too so looks nice in my kitchen.

I absolutely love this machine it’s so easy to use. I’ve never owned an automatic machine before and this machine has changed my life. 1 thing I would change is the colour of the power plug is black yet the machine is white it looks odd

Our new Phillips Baristina Espresso machine is like a new pet to our family. We love it. We all want to get to it first in the morning. We can't get enough of it.The machine is very stylish and looks great on display in the kitchen. . It's so easy to use. It's effortless my 14-year-old son is now our own little Barista The coffee tastes amazing so much better than the pods we have been drinking. My morning begins always now with a smile, what a great way to start my day .

This isn’t far the simplest espresso machine that I’ve used. From set up to actually pulling the espresso, I was impressed at how easy and user friendly it was. I am in love with the built in grinder that grinds the bean to create the most perfect pour. Not to mention that once the espresso is pulled, having a built in button in the portafilter makes clean up so easy. The only thing that I would say is that the machine doesn’t tamp the grounds once grinded which can make some of the grounds stuck in the portafilter when trying to clean and reset the machine. I definitely would recommend this machine to a friend not purely because of how aesthetic it is, but also how beginner friendly it is!!

We absolutely love this machine, it has been such an upgrade from our Nespresso pod machine and it is very easy for “novice” baristas to use as it is all automatic. It creates incredibly fresh coffee every time and the cleanup process is very simple. The only downside is that you can’t fit very tall coffee cups underneath the machine so we have to use different glasses and then transfer the coffee shot to our coffee mugs but this is a very small inconvenience in the scheme of things and how amazing the machine is!

I’m completely in love with this machine. From how beautiful it looks in my kitchen to how easy is to make a wonderful coffee with it. Saving me lots of money on my take away coffee already.

I absolutely love this coffee machine. It feels like a godsend. It has made my mornings and my everyday life so much easier. What I love the most about it is that it automatically grinds, doses, tampers and brews in one single swipe. It’s so compact and easy to clean(just rinse the portafilter after every single use). Honestly, this is the only coffee machine I’d confidently recommend. Worth every bit of the investment.

The espresso machine is compact but stylish and so easy to use. The auto tamper feature is very handy and makes it easy to get the perfect cup of coffee without any fuss and no mess. There is a water jug that sits at the back and the bean hopper is a decent size but compact enough to not be obtrusive. It also is just the right size to keep the beans from becoming stale. Easy to clean and intuitive to follow. You can't use caramelised or ground coffee (only roasted beans but I found the taste of the coffee) that was supplied with it to be quite pleasant. All in all easy to set up and use and provides a great tasting coffee with no fuss. If you are looking for pods or hot chocolate/multiple drink options this won't be for you however, if you are looking for an espresso or basic latte this could be your new best friend.

Was super easy to set up. Then once it got time to get it sorted I’m was confused. Your manual is horrible to read. The writing is super tiny. Beans on the top I wasn’t sure if I needed to do anything other then pour and close the top. Next the grinding. Grind and express. Easy right? Wrong! But how? Where?for a good 15mins I was confused. Googled for a quick sec and a 30sec video helped me understand, a gentle push to the right and the magic happens. With a bit of practice and the right posting with the coffee mug no coffee grind spills. It’s not quite right, centred, definitely made alot of mess for a good 15-20mins. Feeling accomplished. What I love about this machine, was an easy set up however a QR code should be in the manual for an easy simple set up. Coffee machine makes a delicious brew coffee quickly, and hot which is great, especially for those cold mornings coming along. The ease of a making a coffee with this make is 5 out 5. Simple. Please include a QR code in your manua

I like how easy it is to operate. It has a built-in grinder and temper which do all the hard work for me. What I have to do is to fill the coffee beans and dump the used coffee grinds. It makes the process ultra easy and quick.

The coffee machine is very simple to use in general, but if you make a mistake or press a button to soon you have to start the process all over again, the box doesn’t come with instructions, you have to scan a QR code to be added to the app to sign up which, had to google the manual on how to use it, and when you press the small or large cup you only get like 50mls of coffee and water and the large one is about 100mls so to get a general size mug you have to do it a few times as I haven’t been able to figure out how to make it fill the cup even with just hot water,

I love how straightforward the Philips Baristina coffee machine is. You simply swipe the handle, and the machine grinds, tamps, and brews for you, resulting in a beautiful espresso. The shot has a light crema, and it’s also easy to clean; you can either wipe or wash the portafilter after use. The machine is compact, and I love the cream-white colour. It’s a beautiful addition to my coffee corner. The best part is that you can use fresh beans! I have a few favourite beans that I buy from certain cafes, and I get so excited to make them at home.
