Have never been able to get it to work past 'saved'. No manual in box and useless quickstart flyer.

Not Great

It’s not as hard to use as the other reviews make out but it’s not a great product either. Purchased and exchanged on the same day. DAB signal was very choppy to the point where it couldn’t be used and the power socket was loose.

Interesting but different features

The alarm needs to be set a minute or two early because it comes on quietly (as radio) and ramps up. It also only stays on for 30 minutes when I would like an hour. The only small problem is that every few minutes the radio suffers a very short, but mute, stutter. Overall though a good product.

Instruction Impossible, Misleading

It takes a very long time to set up as the instructions on paper are unclear and need to be downloaded online. When power is lost the saved positions which take a long time to set up, reset and is no longer saved on DAB.

Control s not description of use on device. Guidelines to set up very poor. Downloaded user manual guidelines slightly better. Unable to set up device returned it to the supplier who confirmed device faulty.

One major flaw.

If you set the radio to come on as an alarm and then decide to change the volume for some reason, you will either switch to the second alarm, or turn off the current alarm. There is no way to change the volume and maintain your connection. More than annoying, I am looking for a replacement.

Neat and compact but display quite small

This is a lovely looking unit. Neat, compact, and good quality. As a person who wears glasses by day, the screen is small and I cannot read it at night. The radio setting up seemed complicated and I didn’t bother for my need as a bedside unit. Sound not so good.

Poor Audio and Alarm Function

Audio quality poor. FM audio slightly better than DAB+ audio, but still poor audio quality overall. Clock radio shows the radio station call sign, rather than the time when the alarm goes off and for the next 30 minutes of the alarm duration.

Sleek design and does the job

This alarm clock radio serves its purpose well enough for me - providing a gentle way to wake up to the radio and serving as a peace-of-mind back up to my phone's alarm. In spite of the quick set up guide being purely pictorial and a bit hard to follow, it's thankfully intuitive enough just playing with th buttons to set the time, set an alarm time and choose a desired radio station. Would give it 5 stars if the sound quality was a little better (it's not bad, but not quite as good as I'd hoped for the price) and if their was a rigid telescoping antenna instead of just a wire.

Works okay, but ordinary speaker, small and extremely light and unsubstantial for the price. Appears paying a reasonable amount for very little despite the exterior looks.

Not easy to set up and get working

Needed to download manual - as quick setup is very basic and just pictures that are hard to understand. Even with the manual it is hard to work out . I just wanted to set an alarm that would play for 60 min and then stop

Impossible to store DAB+ channels

I'm pretty disappointed with this clock, I have found it impossible to store my 3 favourite radio channels. Either the software is faulty or the instructions are flawed (I even downloaded the full manual), I'm not sure which is the case. But I need a replacement alarm clock and with lock down and being a vulnerable person, I do not want to keep going out. So I guess I just have to live with it for now, but it was a waste almost $100 that I thought would buy me a quality product. I would have been better spending a lot less and buying a no name product. But I've learn a lesson, I'll never buy another Philips radio clock again.

It works OK but I was disappointed at the small size of the clock and the sound quality. For the price I was expecting a bit better.
